Should ZOS compensate the long loading screens because the game is unplayable

Annoying but they don't owe us compensation

It's not "long" load screens they are infinite. You need to completely exit the game to get out of it. It's more than annoying it has broken PvP on Xbox.

Edit: I got 7 infinite screens in less than 3 hours of playing in PvE areas last night as well. More than annoying.

Huh. Bugs usually do not progress like a disease by spreading.

It's getting worse. Why would I lie about this? Does literally nothing for me.

Until you said that, it had not occurred to me that you could be lying. Of course, now the thought is in my head.

Edit: My point is that bugs usually exhibit an effect. If they do anything over time, it is that we tend to discover additional effects in the area where they were already found. We don't usually see a bug in one area, but not in another area, and over time the bug spreads to the area that we did not see it. To me, this means that the bug was there all the time. It is not spreading or getting worse at all. It is just that not enough people saw it and reported it, and now they are. The is the simple answer.

I'm willing to accept that is the reason but it feels like it's getting worse. And I guess I'm just used to being attacked on here when I say I'm having issues with the game by white knights who yell at me that I need to switch to PC and stop complaining about the game. Your seemingly sarcastic "Huh" to start up your post felt like an indicator of that position.

I have no problem loading in, even under heavy instance load. Might wanna check your hardware first, especially checking on an SSD if you can, before attributing it to the developers of a more mature game that what it was in 2014 during the beta.

Not aiming it at anyone else but those who claim to load "forever", would love to see what their verdict is after testing on a more-than-average rig with an SSD.

It is forever as in not stopping at all requiring restart regardless of hardware type.
Not just a problem with a slow loading screen because of HD access times.

ZoS has literally said they think they know what the problem is. Spoiler alert: it's not anyone's internet connection or their console. The amount of victim blaming on this forum is disgusting. Internet connections making load screens infinite doesn't even make any sense. Look at the pinned topic on this issue and educate yourself.

Misinformed much? In cyrodil on console every time we die or use a way shrine to travel we have to close the application, restart app, and reload character. Takes a little more than 20 seconds.

Not to mention by the time you go through the reset the keep you spawn at is is often already filled with enemies so time to reset again.

Hmm what, is the game suffering from long loading screens
You are only going to get compensation if the outage is effecting everyone and lasts for days as it should be.

I myself haven't had any longer than normal loading screens. So do I get compensated? How can they prove I haven't been effected? I could just lie and say every other screen is a long screen demanding money. So unless you know an entire server, or region is out that's not going to happen.

to be fair, it isn't extra seconds. it's usually an infinite loading screen. at least for me it is. Sometimes I get the message and then it loads up. Longest I've waited was 3 minutes...I usually just quit the game and reload.

Note: I don't PvP, so this is less of an issue and more of an inconvenience.

But they don't owe us anything.

Idk what causes this but if its just a ton of players on at one time, well I'm not going to complain about that.

Yes they should give everyone 1500 free crowns or similar, they broke the game, TOS or not, we have a right to play the game we bought, and having constant load screen issues violates there contract with us when we bought the game, we have a right to play the game, now I dont expect Zenimax Profit as I call them to do anything about the load screen issue anytime soon. I see us waiting another month, only to have them say "a fix is coming."
I really enjoy this game, but the company is a total POS in terms of customer service.

Again. I'm not experiencing the issue. Do I get 1500 crowns? You can't prove that I'm not getting it other than me saying so. It's not going to happen and shouldn't.

The game is still accessible you can get in and it's not every load screen.

I haven't played ESO for quite some time now, are you actually saying the loading screen delays have got much worse? This game just seems to get worse and worse, chances of me returning get smaller and smaller.

This is the only game I have looked forward to enough to actually play in the beta.

I am not saying ZOS owes us anything but a working game.
But I do kind of wonder what is it for some of you who are so vehemently against ZOS making it up to players in some form.
I think semantics are part of the problem and the bug ought to be called the game is "locking up" during loading screen rather than just "long" loading screen.
It would be a lot less confusing for those that want to comment without facts.
And if the game is working OK for you that is great, but for thousands of others it is not.

You are in the minor percentage of people who arent, why would you *** at free crowns for an issue thats actually occurring for a majority of the people playing on the game? You literally can not PVP right now for a lot of people. I get the infinite load screen on my Xbox one X every 5 jumps or so or almost every time i die in PVP. PVP is unplayable.

The long loading is mostly a hardware issue. A solid state drive, makes a significant improvement.

Though I hve encountered long loading times in the past not so much now.

This issue since they released the CwC patch last Tuesday on console doesn't make any difference what kind of hard drive you have. They completely broke the game client or there's something going on server side. It shows a loading screen but the game has essentially locked up because no amount of waiting allows it to ever finish loading. And in Cyrodiil it happens not once in a while, it happens nearly every single time you die or try fast traveling to another keep.

It has killed PvP and the only ones playing right now are the tryhards running only in zergs so that they can rez each other and not have to respawn because otherwise you have to close the game and log back on every time you die. You also have to ride everywhere, you can't fast travel to another location.

    No, why should they
As a mostly pvp player on console these load screens have really killed the game for me. Even so I don't think we should be compensated.

They just released the masterpiece of a doc Clockwork City, which has given my characters some purpose until they can go back and fight the war in cyrodiil load screen free.

The only compensation I'd like is for the campaigns to be reset once the problem is fixed. Even though all my toons are AD, and we're winning in vivec atm, there has been no competition, impossible to defend a keep when you cant port onto one. The only ones benefiting are zergs who can revive each other, and travel everywhere by mount.
I don't normally use daggers, but when I do, I choose dos Lekis.
