So with this whole transmute option for gear.
Couldn't you now transmute trainee set from its training trait to whatever you need? the add shacklebreaker from Vvardenfell to the mix?
Both increases magicka and stamina, shacklerbreaker also increases damage and recovery in both styles. Just with smart gear, attribute points and cp could get a nice hybrid. Probably best for wardens since the option for many stam heals?

Or, since you have to split your pool, you can just go with Hulking Draugr or Necropotence (if you're a pet build) instead of Trainee.

Yeah, I would say this is probably more pvp oriented build where critical values doesn't mean much.

It's an interesting idea... Unless I'm forgetting a set, Trainee gives the most pure stat in the game with its 5 piece, even in its nerfed state. A large chunk of that is health, of course, so maybe there's a better offensive option. At the very least, it'd make it easy to use the +Magic+Stamina recipes without becoming too frail.

A good Hybrid setup is: 5x bone pirate 5 x shakle with 1 domi + the eye bowl food.
This will push your stats to ~35k stam / mag

I'd say you'd end up with less health rather than damage.

Just checked, with Draugr's or NecroP damage would be a little higher than a Trainee setup because of higher pools (with NecroP being the clear winner).

If you use hulking and necropotence mixed up so that you'll get max out of both resources. You're leaving out shacklebreaker which does boost your damage slightly

No, I said "Hulking Draugr OR Necropotence INSTEAD of Trainee.
Shacklebreaker would still be a constant in the set up.

As for the low crit values, you can get the thief mundus stone. I also suggest running with dual wield and s&b so that you also have that damage. Buffed on my warden, I can get my damage up to 3k weapon and 2.7k spell, and that is with 3 jewelry with stam recovery (haven't gotten around to changing these). I suggest that you invest in penetration, since you will be missing a lot of it. What I did was 5 light, 1 heavy, 1 medium to have 5k more spell penetration.

I recently changed the build to be shacklebreaker + Spriggans + domihaus + kena (haven't completed vFH). I'm also running it with 1 mace and 1 nirn sword. This way I have about 10-12k penetration (including the debuff from warden stam shalk or pierce armor).

One thing I will have to figure out is how I want to set up my defenses... I threw on the light armor shield, but I have all 3 defenses at my disposal (block, shields, roll dodge)... I should figure out which one I want to focus on...

It did... It's no longer viable as a high resource set. It only gives 200-300 more max stam/magicka than shacklebreaker, but it has none of the damage or recovery that shacklebreaker does.
