Vma bow vs master bow vs asylum bow

I believe vMA bow is still best. Asylum bow is...to put it really nice, lacking. A lot.

I heard Gilliam on one of his videos mention you need to let the first tick of endless hail hit the enemy before bar swapping to get the extra damage, so keep that in mind.

What do you want to do with the Bow. They are all the best one in different situations.
-For PvE-DPS MSA
-PvP on the Backbar DSA
-PVP ganker perhaps Asylum(haven't tested this yet.

vMA for PvE always but a masters is very good if you don't have that. Masters is very strong in PvP. Asylum is just a zerg weapon or maybe a bowtard might use it well

I use an infused Master's Bow in PvP and love it. Poison Injection is a staple skill for most Stam builds, and don't ever equip a bow without it. The extra damage really helps with burst in this heavy armor meta that won't die no matter what ZOS does to try to kill it.

I use a Nirnhoned Maelstrom bow in PvE, and there's really nothing you can do as a Stam build to increase your DPS quite like equipping this bow. This puppy was Defending before I transmuted it, and it instantly increased my single target DPS by about 4K without even adjusting my rotation. Now with a better trait and a refined rotation, I'm in a much better spot than I'd ever be without it.

Asylum bow? Never used it. Don't have one. Could make it as an interesting piece on a Bow/Bow PvP build. But I don't see myself playing with it regularly if/when I get one.

As soon as you use Endless Hail, so in every Stamina PvE Build, vMA-bow is BIS. The damage boost is just so massive.
Master is okaish if you don't have a vMA one in PvE, in PvP it's better as you won't use Endless Hail.
Asylum is in my opinion utterly useless.

Maelstrom bow is best in slot for pve stam builds. Nothing else even comes close to the dps it beings.

Master bow is a very strong option for pvp. Especially when combined with an infused Berserker enchant, you are looking at 700+ weapon damage spike.

Asylum bow is mostly trash unless you really like big numbers. It's usually better to just fire off two snipes from ultra long range if you are running a bow ganker.

I personally don't know the effects of all three bows from the top of my head but I did got an Asylum bow on my 2nd try and thought it would be pretty back-up weapon for my Nightblade... Ya know, use the morph of Arrow Spray to lockdown the mobs, turn invisible, and get a sneak critical off with another bow ability with the Asylum damage boost on top of it... It might hurt quite a bit, but my Nightblade isn't max level quite yet so I hadn't tested it out to see how it works.

Granted, I'm not saying it is good or bad. Just that is what first came to mind personally when I got the bow.

Ah indeed, its always important to try and conflate players you dislike with derogatory terms for those with disabilities. That way you can denigrate both those with disabilities and those you disagree with.

For universal use the VDSA bow is best, it is a very good option in pvp if not the best, and a decent option in pve.

For PVE only, nothing compares to the VMA bow.

For PVP only, asylum has some theoretical use. It has no value for pve.

Nothing comes close to vma bow in pve.

Can't comment from personal experience in pvp, but the boost to poison injection from vdsa bow is nice in pvp.
