Is there a way to toggle the visibility of other players?

I want to take pictures and stuff, but that's pretty difficult when there are tons of other people in the way. It gets extra annoying during scenes.

Not that I know of sadly.

You could ask politely for them to move, or try playing at a time when places are less populated.

Sadly, asking is out. There are way too many people circling in and out. (I'm trying to take some shots with the CWC epilogue.)
Hopefully they will clear out in a while It's 9:55 for me and I'm on NA server.

When I want to be alone, I just go into a group dungeon...Not another player around for miles...Now I just need to figure out how to solo it.

Never play a DLC the first two weeks after it's released.

FFXIV has a screenshot function for this. You can even change lighting and add your own (complete with color, saturation, and position).

At the very least, hiding the UI should hide every player not in your group. Or have it as a toggle.

Ummm, just ask them to take a screencap, unless your toon has a cellphone then you may take a pic.
