Does anyone use Echoing vigor over Resolving vigor, and now that you've most likely answered no, how do you feel about changing echoing to a magicka morph?

No, I actually use echoing vigor for some weird reason that makes people stare at my in a funny way, but I've learned to live with it.

I don't see why not. I really thing this is the answer to the unused morphs of skills they keep trying to pass off. Even just unused abilities. Make them with an option for the other pool.

How about we not lock abilities behind PVP..

I *** hate cyrodill, as a result I don't bother unlocking vigor or warhorn on any characteer besides my main. I'm not going to follow a zerg train around in 2fps. It's unplayable for me, and ZOS essentially is forcing me to play in that *** just to use the only Stamina heals that isn't class or weapon locked. They should of put Vigor on the bottom of Fighter Guild or Undaunted.

It's not that I feel mag needs another heal, I just like the way vigor heals. It's great that you can cast it in anticipation of damage and receive a solid heal from a heal over time effect.

Echoing has some uses. It's a great ability for triggering Troll King on group members by a tank in PvP, for instance.

It's the goto bulk heal for my Stamblade and being able to anticipate incoming damage and cast it accordingly so the HoT kicks in just at the right time makes it extremely useful.

It's useful during Rakkhat's lunar phase. Tanks can help heal allies on the pads while healers are using the beam synergy.

We have a perfectly worthless heal that they could easily make that already in Healing Ritual. Should be a channeled HOT if you ask me and should have a stam morph. (selfish stamplar request)

Its a great way to not have people staring at my (stam-)plar ... just because i use jabs doesn't mean I am your healer !.

This morph at leasts lets me meet the expectations of those people clever enough to stay close.

It's worth noting that Echoing vigor has over 200% more area coverage with the heal (resolving covers about 70 square meters, echoing covers almost 180 square meters). So that makes it an amazing way to splash troll king procs everywhere--and the heal tick is low enough that it won't heal people out of the 50 percent mark (as can happen more easily with a heal-spec using troll king.)

Echoing is also a great way to proc Sentinel of Rkugamz and Bogdan, but those aren't used nearly as often in general.

There are already a ton of magicka heals in the game, hell there is a whole weapon line dedicated to it.

Echoing Vigor is the morph you take if you are a tank. It used to be more important because of powerful assault, but even so, being able to tag the entire group provides a little more utility than only healing yourself.

I dont use either morph but there was no other voting option. I think the game has more than enough magicka heals and it's useful to keep the few stamina heals we have open for use even if a morph is unpopular.

So, according to the OP, magicka needs another heal over time and stamina needs one less heal over time? Why do people go to all the effort to PVP, even when they hate PVP, in order to get Vigor? Oh, right, because its the best option for non-warden stamina-based self-heals.

Yeah, magicka doesn't need another heal over time. Even if the morph is less used, that doesn't mean that stamina users should have to lose an stamina heals option.

A few people are using tanks as a reason it should stay as it is.

A change to magicka would probably benefit tanks as you then have extra stamina for blocking etc.

Nope. Tanks usually have a lot more stamina than magicka so the heal would be much weaker. It would be a waste of an already limited resource, especially when that magicka is needed for more important utilities.

I dislike it full stop. I don't think there should be this strong a self heal UNLESS you are literally a healer. *shrugs* but it is nice, since we have it already. I just wish that we weren't making every role into every other role. I feel like we need more definition between and I feel like we shouldn't make roles obsolete/nearly obsolete.
