So the rewards are identical no matter what you choose?
    ~ Gryphon Heart ~
    ~ Immortal Redeemer ~
    ~ Grand Master Crafter ~
    ~ Master Angler ~
    ~ Former Emperor ~

150% or 100% xp scroll if you save the lady.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Thank God. I thought I missed a skill point if I didn't choose power.

Luciana has been alive for over 800 years now. Her son, Marius, died a long time ago, which is the reason behind her stern behavior. If you choose not to save her she says she's cool with it and that she can finally go to heaven and be with her son.

Not useless, but not not something you just need to have. You can buy it for gold, however going for long term buff over high short term will pay off a lot,

Grinding just make you go in circles.

the good choice you save a person and get a scroll whose buff you can craft, or sacrifice her for a better scroll you can craft... if you rp a good person its better to take the good choice

You also can't bank the scroll, so if you did the storyline on your main like I did, the extra 50% is especially useless.

The rewards are so close, that the extra XP is not really worth anything. Thus each can choose how their character might like... "good" characters can choose to rescue the damsel in distress (well... more like, have sotha sil resurrect her once again, likely with even more clockwork bits), not quite so good characters can grasp for power and get... slightly dissapointed.

Not like it gives you skill points like feeding Valaste to Shoegorath, but I guess that's the difference between a reward from a deadric prince and a mere imposter god... but look at the bright side, at least you did not merely get a flashlight from the trinket shop like back when you helped Almalexia with her temple... ;)

Saving her from being re-united with her son in heaven when she’s already 800 years old and will die yet again anyway, doesn't seem to be a very sympathetic (good) act, in fact it’s more selfish to bring her back from the dead just because you want her around.
Where as, on the other hand, the extra 50% xp for choosing power can help you get CPs quicker, making it a bit easier to defeat the bad and revenge, protect and unite the good of Tamriel.

    .....................

    You can't bank it????

Why does that make any sense whatsoever

It makes sense to someone. Otherwise they wouldn't have done it.

I got suspenders for saying "Testicular Mass" instead of "Balls". like, rilly.

That someone didn't think about the scenario of the many players who complete the quest-line at full-CP.

It's a small thing to be sure, but I picked the power option and receive no benefit from it now. Not being able to bank it is one of the more moronic things I've heard this week.

The reward sucks either way if you are on your achievement toon, who doesn't really have ANY use for a scroll that can't even be put in the bank to use for an alt. Skill points would have been better.

She seemed very content with finally being allowed to die. Not sure if keeping her alive would be the "good" choice.

Indeed, it makes eating clockwork city produce a bit... ehhh. Makes me wonder why noone there thought of the obvious alternatives yet... I mean, there -are- criminals even in clockwork city, right? So...

I have yet to do this quest... but seems to me, as others have said, that denying her death so she can join her son is NOT the 'good choice' but the selfish choice- especially since it's just prolonging her suffering and anguish. Imagine if you, yourself was in the same situation... and someone had the choice of letting you die to be with your children or remain alive and continue to be miserable without them. What choice would you make for YOURSELF?

No...saving Luciana IS the good choice. Sotha Sil says that she will put this “gift” to great use, and Luciana is grateful for what you’ve done for her and vows to continue to serve in her duties faithfully. There is NO HINT WHATSOEVER that Luciana would have preferred to die.
