Yeah gotta say guild slots aren't enough
For me currently:
1 my own guild, trying to become a pve guild
1 pvp guild
1 storage guild made by my other account
2 trading guild
Tho I kinda have all the "functions", it's just so tight, if you want to focusing on something have 2 or 2+ guild about that part, you are not able to cover other stuff
I'd rather not.
It's hard enough as it is to have members be true members of a guild you run.
In most MMO games you join one guild per character or account and then you form a close community with that one guild, you do all your content with that guild.
In ESO however you have a guild for everything and guild leaders have to deal with the dreaded "Sorry we can't do our raid tonight because we have no members free" whilst they have all the members in their guild but they're doing things with their other guilds that night.

I would completely agree with you here, if ZOS didn't made trade guilds a necessity in order to make gold. Which current unless you are in one of the major trade guilds. Then you'll have to subtract 3 of your guild spaces just to make gold in this game.
Because remember unlike the other MMOs with one guild pre a character. ESO decided to gate the players money making abilities completely behind trading guilds. So unless the guild trading system goes. I personally can not and will not support a one guild pre character rule in this game.
I'll instead ask for ZOS to allow us be in more than 5 guilds. Since most of those spots are being taken up, just to be able to trade in this game. Just my 2 cents is all.

Trade guilds shouldn't be part of the guild system. They should be part of the merchant system.
