Or is it perhaps part of a costume?

If I remember correctly, this hat was part of the storm atronach or wild hunt crown crate season. It wasn't purchasable individually.

My Leopard toon was as awesome as it gets until I needed speed for IC hunts as a NB and awakened him as a Vampire.

Now though, he looks like a weather beaten drug infested zombie snowman.

The very opposite of what I think of when it comes to a life force overflowing immortal power oozing entity.

I discovered the "Oracle Eyes" adornment this morning. I think it helps tone-down some of the severity of the vampire "look."
I also reverted the primary color of her costume (Shrike's Nocturnal Frock) back to its original blue. The Frock doesn't appear to dye well.
The first pic (above) shows what it looks like with Noxophilic Black; the result is not what I was hoping for.

My Vampire..... an original bloodline.....created from the bite of a bloodfiend in the Rift in April of 2014. She was level 18 at the time when the vampire introduction quest didn't scale to your level, and it was bloody hard to clear it.
