Costume

I've come to the realization that most crown store costumes are kind of lackluster and boring. Luckily the community is here to help, cause we are supporting the game anyway we can. So I gave ZoS a few ideas on costumes, by crafting armour any putting them together. Even though they will not add these I thought it would be fun and I encourage everyone else to try and make something.

Those ideas are good, but why you don't use crafted sets then? There are good sets. I have many characters, who have interesting armor combos and they are good for their roles.

No, I buy costumes to avoid the fugly armor, hips flaps and all, personally I wouldn't buy any of these.

I'd rather they make available as costumes lot of generic outfits the npcs are wearing.
Even if you get some as disguise, they cannot be dyed; getting them as outfits from stealing, they obviously replace armor. There are a lot very simple yet very well done, I truly would like to have them as costumes.

Btw this is my preference, I wish you luck OP for some items you like to be released, I don't have much hope about mines.

I like costumes in the crown store and I hope they continue to make more and offer them in game also

I dunno, I think I look pretty good without a costume

On the other hand, I do like getting my fashion just right on builds that don't use crafted gear. Holiday in Balmora is a recent favourite.

Yeah there are some but armor-costume is not my cup of tea, I prefer overall to go for clothing, it's not only the hips.

Moreover an armor as costume wouldn't even be dyeable as a regular armor, [snip]

There are no good hip flaps. They should only and ever appear on HEAVY armor, there is no logical basis for them on medium or light armor. I loathe them with every fiber of my being.
