Wait eso has depths?
Wait eso has depths?
I suppose it depends how you look at it, 180 days to get a horse done, about the same to learn all crafting traits, that's straight up half a year of your life, with average lifespan being what 70 thats dedication and deep for most.
If all you do is game then maybe not so deep, if you have a family a job and other commitments, well yes.

Exactly I am always astounded by those who say it’s too easy or fast to get to ‘endgame’. For those who can only play an hour or so a night it takes an age!!!!! I would like it a bit faster with more depth in other areas like side quests, but faster levelling and please god account ride horse training...

This, however you can do eso on pretty much any level and feel good.Horses and research are a straw man at best because all told it's like at most at MOST 5 hours of actual time for 14 toons to research and horse feed.
The alloted time between these events is not relevant to the depth of the game, it's just arbitrary wait time that you could do whatever you want. As long as you log in feed your horse and check your research, there is nothing more casual than that. < 3 minutes a day.

Everyone is still using gear that's been out for 2+ years or overpowered crafted gear (Julianos, Hundings). ZOS has done a very poor job incentivizing their recent content. Even Halls of Fabrication only has one usable gear set. People only run that Trial because they are bored and have done everything else 100+ times.
VSA introduces Asylum weapons, which should be the new gear chase. We'll see how that goes.

Yeah totally agree, playing since release my horse has about 50 speed 30 stamina and 30 capacity, nobody just logs in to train a horse unless a slave to the game, will only do it myself if going to play.
