Warden bear and boss 1 shots

Can the bear be made more resilient to boss 1shot aoe mechanics? As of now, the bear is useless in any boss fight with 1 shot aoes. If the bear was to survive a 1shot aoe mechanic, it would not hurt anyone. If the player dies, the bear dies as well but as of now, the bear will always die even if the player lives.
This goes for all pets as well. I specified the bear simple because it's the warden dps ultimate.
