Both, though i would go on a long hiatus if skyrim were releasing today. The reason? well i like to get lost in worlds and do what i want. Most MMO's are less fun, more social, and more work than just goofing around in a sandbox game. I play eso because that is where my friends and family are and i needed a break from skyrim. Prior to starting ESO i had 3000 hours of skyrim logged and tons of mods. so ya, ESO is what i am playing until TES 6 comes out.

wont change much tho, im love mmorpgs, i picked eso due to it being an mmo not the other way around

Edit: imo the only thing good about skyrim to me is the freedom of mods, i dont think i could even play it on vanilla, it just feels bland

If I haven't played any other ES game and especially daggerfall , morrowind and Modrim I wouldn't be playing this game.
Modrim Special Edition is far superior to this game in my opinion.

But the problem with this game is not a bad design choice but it comes with it being an MMO.This game is really unimmersive because of that.

I love the fact that ESO exist to pass time before TES 6 and especially when modding was slow for Special Edition.
