What can a guild do to get rich?

Hi everyone. My name is Bee and I am the founder of The League of Moneymakers, a social guild (now) that used to have the main purpose of getting the players rich. I changed the purpose from it being a moneymaking guild into simply being a social guild because I honestly have no idea how to get ourselves rich.

For example, I could assign my members to gather kuta for me so I could sell them and share the profits, but the thing is, they would be better off selling it themselves and keeping the profit for themselves. Although that would be better for them, it would be bad for the guild. The problem is, I really don't know ANY ways that will get the members to work together for the common purpose of getting rich. I could, for example, tell them to craft me something to sell and share the profits with them, but there is no good reason for them to do that because they themselves can craft it for themselves and sell it for themselves...

So aside from getting a guild trader, what other ways can guilds have its members work together to accomplish the purpose of getting rich?

Thank you.

You can set a weekly donation-requierment, although I doubt it'll be of much success. But what''s wrongwith them selling the stuff they gather? All I read from the OP is that you're too lazy to do anything yourself - so you wanna have people do it for you, then you sell it for them(You can be a member of up to 5 guilds - so having a trading guild is ezpz) then you split the profit.

Why not just gather the Kuta yourself => Sell in a trading guild(Or your own guild, there's in-house sales as well, guild store accessable through Banker-NPC). Then if you want a rich guild, donate your gold to the guild?

anybody in this game who wants to be "rich" can make gold very easily, they do not have to belong to a guild where the queen "bee" tells them what to farm and the bee will sell it for them AND split the profits,,, be realistic that will never work, the only player you would really attract to a guild with that kind of ethic would be those who join a guild because... "well its a guild that accepted me".

You are the guild master, make yourself some gold, invest into YOUR guild by hiring a trader, show YOUR guild members you are giving them the first step on a platform from which to get rich and grow from there.,

I just don't think you have a grasp of basic economics, they farm Kuta (your example) for you to do the selling and then you split the profits...????, seriously if you came to me with 100 kuta to sell do you expect me to pay the same price per Kuta as i would do if i was buying 1 single Kuta or are you going to take hours on end selling these things seperatly to maximise income so your "farmers" get a higher return?

Though your intentions may be well intended they are far from a sound basis as to be anywhere near remotely succesful. Either be a social guild, a trading guild or a bit of both, but for heavens sake give your members a platform to do their own selling and ask for donations or run raffles etc.

Players get rich by actually playing the game though it's a personal choice if they want to donate their gold to the guild.

Raiding vet trials offers a minimum of 12k plunder plus the vendor value of trash and the mats from itsems worthy od decon for a minimum of 15k. That doesn't include the matts from heavy sacks A group that can clear the trials fast will be lucrative for each player.

Focus on questing will generate a regular steam of gold. Not to mention many dailies have a chance at a motif to sell and some zones have a chance of dropping some gear that sells for a nice price, though the highest sellers will drop in value soon due to retraiting.

Threive. Good pickpocket fans rake in some decent gold if they have a good pattern.

Also. It's probably spending gold that is the reason many players do not have any.

Having friendly, helpful and loyal member base. Having a support base within your guild normally offers returns in multiple ways.
What is more important? Having a social guild the doesnt talk and wants only money or a social guild that helps all its member that ask for help and help build a strong and skillful player base?

Wants to run a guild like Chinese gold sellers :/

This kind of thing only works for the gold seller company or in ur case the guild master. You want other people to farm for you then sell. You make gold by doing nothing and the people farming like crazy make almost nothing. No one in there right mind would join a guild like this.

I'm not sure why you want the guild to be rich.

The guild can't 'own' anything that you can buy, so anything the money was used for would belong to only one person. Why would people be prepared to help the guild master get a lot of possessions when they can be kicked at any time?

To me a guild is there for one of two reasons:
    - Trading, in which case people pay for access to a trader and those fees are used for hiring the trader.
    - Social, so people can meet, group up and help each other - whether that be questing, running dungeons, learning to play or running trials. It can get a bit more serious when people start getting into vet trials, leader boards, PVP, etc., but fundamentally these all come under social type guilds. These guilds do not really need gold.

Of course a third reason is just to get a guild bank and the 500 slots it comes with.

As someone who trades a reasonable amount, a successful trade guild is one that has a trader most weeks, if not every week, in a highly prized location, so that I can keep stock turning over.

On PS4 NA this requires a pretty high guild population who are prepared to pay for the privilege.
    Australian on PS4 NA server.
    Everyone's entitled to an opinion.

You already bolded the part that matters........... for your guild to make money for you and your members you need a Trader :)

Easiest way is to get rich yourself, and then bid on one of the cheaper traders. Build your wealth from there. If you get super rich, you can probably jump straight into one of the more expensive trading locations (but you'll need to build up your guild membership quickly). From there, just set minimum weekly sales requirements or donations (the amount depends on the location).

The only way for the guild to get rich is for it to offer so much value to its members that they are willing to pay weekly for the privilege of being members. The primary way of doing that it to enable _them_ to get rich through being guild members, i.e., to have a guild trader. Once you have that, you can raise money through the aforementioned weekly dues, as well as raffles and other gimmicks. You can add to the draw of your guild by keeping a fun, friendly tone, and having leaders who run various activities your members enjoy, anything from lorebook hunting and fishing expeditions to vet trials runs.

Without a guild trader, you can still have a great guild with great people who enjoy spending time together in game. But the guild will not get rich.
