So a while back i asked if i could get vma done with 200 cp..... I couldn't for the life of me.
So waited till i was at 300cp! i don't know if i was having a good night but managed to get through it to earn that lovely stormproof title (plenty of deaths though) i guess its amazing what 100 cp does to make a difference

Probably had more to do with the fact that you'd tried it already and so had a better idea of how to handle it. Now go get Flawless!

I haven't beaten it on any mode, so don't knock your effort.

It might also just be practice. I joined NA server not long ago and got to the last round with 167 CP, missing passives and purple gear. I tried last round a few times and left it for later. Ended up going back to EU just because and now there's no point in vma weapons in PvP next patch so doubt I'll even bother when go back to NA.

Anyway, point is, I could have done it sub 200 if I tried a bit more. Because I did it so many times on EU so just knew how to do it. Don't be so quick to assume it was the CP that made you do it. Sure, they helped, but you may have been able to do it with just practice.

Oh its not my first time as i said in previous post, but no matter how many times ive done it, getting the last boss below 10% i get a huge adrenaline rush and my heart races.... Not many games give me that feeling anymore lol

CP increases your resources up until CP 300 (the same way attribute points do, albeit less per point). So those 100 CP gave you extra health/magicka/stamina.

completing any class with only 300 cp is still well done, mag sorc or not.

getting to cp300 and having the resistances to take damage is the main difference i noticed in getting more cp.
