I am *** in lockpicking.
Let me admit that.
Here I am trying to enjoy the zonal story in Bangkorai and this stupid lockpicking is mandatory to open a stupid house.
Now I am stuck and cant progress in that story.
How many of you think it is a stupid game design ?
I dont personally have any issue with lockpicking, but I would be bloody mad if I were excluded from content over it.
However, I do hate the fact that some important quests in festival events and even now in Morrowind demand trespassing and thieving although often only partway through the quest. That's a nuisance for those of us with characters that don't engage in such activities - like my holy paladin type templar - but the actual process of lock-picking isn't an issue in itself.
@mystfit how are you with the sounds? I actually find it easier to wait for the first sound to hear I hit the point and then letting go of the button.I am legally blind and unable to visualize this jiggle people mention. I have, however, been able to sort out enough of a system that I can open locks fairly regularly. I may have to take a few tries on the harder ones but I get there. I was overwhlemed at first, but with time and practice it got better, you can do it!!!
