Now I thought I had a bad image, but it must be worst than I realized now that it's causing errors me to repair my game everytime I have to start it up.

Would you be able to provide us with the exact error message coming up, or post a screenshot of the error? This will be helpful in determining what might be causing this and what other troubleshooting you can take. One thing you can try now is setting both the launcher and game executable to run as an administrator and see if it helps.

Were you able to try launching the game and launcher as an admin? As for further troubleshooting, please try what is described in this thread and let us know if it helps with either of these errors.

launching the launcher as an admin didn't work. i'll try what is in the other thread.

edit: trying to download the new c++... do I get the x86 or x64 or does it matter?

nvm i'll just download them both.

now c++ is throwing errors.

No luck with technology?

Try to run from eso.exe

Edit: The launcher needs vc++ 2008 32bit version. You dont need to remove your latest version.

In the ticket you opened with support, you mentioned that reinstalling your NVIDIA GeForce Experience software had resolved this issue. If the errors have started again, please reply and let us know.

There could be an issue with the launcher files, so re-installing the launcher as described below could help.

Delete the ESO Launcher Folder

PC: Go to the Launcher folder and delete it.

You can find this by default at C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\Launcher.

Download new ESO Launcher

Once you have deleted the folder, download the ESO Launcher from your account management page here to reinstall it. You can do this by logging in to your account on our website and clicking the Download Game button on the page for your appropriate platform.

If you play on Steam, download a new copy of the game through Steam.

My game won't start either. I let my computer complete the latest windows updates and ever since it won't launch. I tried redownloading the launcher and I even uninstalled the windows update and re-reinstalled the launcher and it still wont work.

And I missed the free crown crates because of it.
