Cannot start the update

Hello,
I have not played in a long time (I think Is topped before Tameriel One) and wanted to try the game once more, but first I have to get the game updated (as prompted whenever the title is turned on)
Only the download wont start, even though I press Download Now, the game turns off then back on only to tell me that I need to download the update, which never starts even when I tell it to download now.
Update: Dunno what I did beside playing soething else, but the update finally started and completed, only to find out that my friend's claim that you did not need PSN to play was totally wrong. Ah well, it's updated at least

The part about not needing PSN is from way back before launch when there was still a monthly fee. Since they dropped the monthly fee for ESO then you needed PSN. I had the same download issue last night (play every day) seems 70 gigs free space was not enough, deleted a bunch of games and it worked for me.
