So lets discuss this event and what followed afterwords and what I discovered

Now this isn't the first forum I wrote about eso and am sure it won't be the last either but lets begin shall we.
Every time there's a event or a special there's always a group of players love to bully harass and insult others in front of there friends think there cool behind a tv screen.
During this resent event for the Molag ball we had way over 30 players and they had groups I went down there I get insulted and mentally abused by a few players I simply ask for a group that didn't happen then I try for hours to get at least a skin that was a failure lets say that it was not just me others had this issue as well when you get killed I timed it takes at least a 30 sec period to revive by that time they already killed the boss .
These players as I said where very insulting this one kid maybe in his 20's stated that I suck my character sucks insulted me in front of his group they join in so I did what Microsoft told me to do report and block so I did.
I told them that there's way to many players here it was very laggy and that they Don't even give anyone a chance to even join there groups or attack the boss.
It was very rude insulting and pretty much a lot of racist remarks.
One African American calls me a [snip] amongst other words and kept bringing up the "N" word thought it was funny as I stated in the past this is not new this happens a lot in the game specially down in the rift in riften all you here is this behavior .
Now to make matters worse every time Molag ball appears the blues appear and gets to wipes out everyone this kept up all through the event then I seen a few blues working side by side with the yellows they where camping at the ebon heart side area by Molag ball banking ebon heart players I sat and hid and watched this for a while .
So back to the event every red was at Molag ball a lot of them where rude insulting and bullying a few players making fun of there class etc. So this is how this game is run?
I then switched to a different campaign and that one was just as bad . This is suppose to be a game for fun and to explore make friends not to bully make fun and call people insulting names call them a *** artistic slow amongst other insulting names and to mistreat them in events such as the one I experienced this week alone.
I call on Zenimax studios to stand up and make some major changes to make this game more playable without dealing with these kind of behaviors .I seen this on many other games and once you file a ticket the game masters investigate some times they appear in the game to see what's going on I very rare or even seen a game master on this game appear and I heard a few say they don't get involved or care .
So my point is simple there has to be some changes and in force the terms of service because it seems a lot ignore it without even reading it and go on to this game and insult bash and make fun of others disabilities .
Am just waiting in till one gets bullied to the point that player commits suicide and its brought up in the news and then a few law suits added on mabey then something get done there's no excuse to make fun of others who are not as normal as others with disabilities. And the racist remarks insults should be invesagated once the ticket been filed not put aside and ignored. This was going on during this event in the sewers to Molag ball to outside PvP sitting and insulting others they didn't get a chance to even get anything from the event and made fun of about there class a lot of these players way over powerd and when you approach them they insult you so I put the blame on this company for allowing it to happen.
Well sorry for the long post like other post just putting it out there I speak my mind and I will not tolerate any bad behavior frankly a few of us getting tired of it.

Other players do not know your personal details.
They do not know your gender/age/if you have disabilities/where you live etc. I have many friends ingame who do know about me - but that's because I choose to tell them - and it does enhance the game for me.

I have avoided this event - just because the playstyle down there is too toxic - but never realised the chat was toxic as well.

Looks like children are playing down there and throwing insults in chat at random - but they still should be reported.

I was in group farming moleg baol and We had this one guy who was ragging with capslock and when someone pulled two bosses (not very smart), he wished us cancer, but then just left. Are this guy who has been harrassed in riften from another thread? If so, then you have really bad luck, suspicious.

Suck it up buttercup. You chose to engage in the "drama" so take the comments with a stiff upper lip, and with a grain of salt. Fact is, the top 12 dps were the ones to get drops. If you were to die, thats one less person who has the chance to get the drop- fact is people compete for this drop in a sense. Also as far as bombers, expect that, its the game functioning as intended. After kill back up pop heals and be ready to unlease all that you have at the enemy.

As far as build, let me tell you. Having an optimized build makes a difference. People may be saying bad things about your build, but instead of allowing yourself to get all hurt and emotional, chill, and take a critical look at your build. Do some research, and see how you can better youe build perhaps, IF that is the issue. There really are bot over powered players. There are those who knpw how to optimize, and use s gpod rotation, and do really well, and then those who go in and heavy attack with a 2h sword and then try and heal with a resto staff. Lol

Point is, the issue isn't the game, its people. Who can say whatever they want because they can hide behind a psn name. People blowing off steam from their lives, and people also frustrated at the low drop chance.

Id advise you focus on you. Be the player that you want others to be, better yourself both in playing skill and your level of communication with others. Then as far as others go, don't let people get to you. At the end of the day, ESO is a game and its up to YOU to enjoy it.

Troll them right back, agree with them or ignore them - any of those three will shut them up or you'll find they aren't so bad after all. If you engage on the defensive well, they win.

I have gained a lot from this event. Made new friends, learned to be better at PvP and got both rare rewards. On PC NA-Shor I did not experience any rude players besides gankers and bombers that would proceed to whisper and tbag. Other than that great experiences all around.

Don't take this as support for those idiot players, but....

You went to a pvp area during an event to draw people in for rewards, which is all they care about.
You expected them to not be competitive/combative against other players?
You expected them to be cooperative and helpful and not how they actually were and are?

The fault is more with you, and ZOS for putting pve stuff in pvp, for thinking cooperation would happen here without any competition or combativeness.


Just don't worry about the event. Leave pvp and never come back. If you do, hide all chat and pretend like you're the only person there and that helps.

The old days of when everyone would farm bosses at spawns and only the best got drops, brings back memories of older mmos. This is not an eso issue it's been a mmo issue

At least back then, you could get the same loot for killing the boss right after that. Now they have code that if you didn't wait long enough, for an invisible clock and unknown mark, you get nothing but a bit of gold.

The IC event brought out the worst zerg groups imaginable. True zergs are made up, usually, of the worst players. They're usually the ones who will tbag after a 30v1. No sense of how to actually play and completely immature. ZOS can't control that stuff so block, turn off zone/say/whisper or just let it roll off you. ESO has some really awful people playing it but thats nothing new to games. My advice? Who gives a *** about that ugly skin or anything the IC has to offer at this point. Just do something else worth your time. Farming rubedite is more useful than farming tel var.

The best time to sneak in and nab the dye, though. I snuck in and poached that on my pact NB, while a Dominion group was trying to raid it.

Thing is, I was only marking the boss with Impale. So, I couldn't have been doing that much damage... and still rated a drop, against a coordinated raid. I... actually, kinda feel bad for them.

And, before someone asks, no, I wasn't ganking them. I was specifically trying to limit my damage to the boss. Might have tagged one of their tanks once or twice.

Let me say that a lot of players I know quit playing eso do to this abusive behavior a lot of you properly much younger than I am so it properly don't bother you as much.
As of myself an 45 years old trust me I.played a lot of games in my time from Atari to now I may of heard a few things but not as bad what I have to hear every day On this game.
Intimate is the key for some players to sit there rank and make fun and push peoples buttons and I can pretty much tell by voice who is what meaning the difference between races.
I would go to there profiles to mute them so I don't have to hear them and there was this one profile photo of himself holding a glock handgun well a few I ran in to like that want to be gangsters.
Or already in a gang but point is the terms of service clearly states no harassing foul language towards other players insulting etc. As a gamer I follow those rules to the "T" I can't afford to loose my profile over some jerks think they can sit there and rank on me or others knowing that there breaking the rules .
I just block them that it no more said on that but as I said any event for a on there's always problems no matter what and how big or small it is and there are a ton of players that choose who gets what and who to bully and cause problems to.
I sat there minding my own business trying for days to get a skin but to have players insult you keep doing it while your playing the game can get very annoying and yes it can get under your skin.
I grew up very strict home there was no back talking no racist remarks so going on a game where there's constantly racist remarks calling people [snip] and using the "N" word in every sentence and then make fun of artistic people I used to work with those kind of people trust me there not dumb at all.
Point is Zenimax allows it you file a complaint they brush it off but if this was on guild wars2 the game master be there to investigate and banned them from chat . I also know another pc game called perfect world they don't put up with this type of behavior so my question is why does Zenimax sit there allow it or ignore the tickets these players still online doing it all over again.
As I said before something has to give no one wants to play a game got to deal with this every day.

It's money that's the problem. It costs money to have roving game masters patrolling the game in response to complaints or just to generally wander up on bad behavior.
I see the same problem where my work is hard on my department and doesn't like to increase wages or benefits, causing high turnover, because we're in the tech support department that doesn't make the company actual money. They don't see the problem with support taking a backseat to sales being insane because you lose more money if you can't keep customers, especially beyond the new customer discount, than you gain from new customers.

This game definitely has not learned the lesson of the best service providers, because it is a service more than it ever was a hands off product. They need to learn support is the most important thing ever.

Sadly, there are many people that get more satisfaction from griefing others then they do by completely content. The only way to 'get back' at them, is to completely ignore them. Even a post like this thread is enough for them to double their efforts to ruin other people's game time.
