This imposing estate in the Nibenese style was originally built in the Gold Coast countryside as the summer manor of an Imperial City nobleman. Gardens with statues and a reflecting pool surround the stately walled mansion. Sumptuous!

The Linchal Grand Manor home comes in a furnished and unfurnished version and will be available on all platforms for a limited time from September 14 to September 18. The furnished version costs 17,500 crowns, and the unfurnished version costs 14,000 crowns.

Seriously?!?! You guys want 14,000 crowns (100 US Dollars) for a house that has a small interior, no basement, an OFF CENTERED (from main entrance) and shallow pool?? You guys gotta give us more bang for our buck to give that kind of justification guys. . .

Grant Topal Hideway was 15 000 crowns unfurnished (18 800 furnished) so I don't know what you are all complaining about:

I only have eso plus on 2 of my accounts. The others are literally just for listing things.

I am going to list the things I like and dislike about the house and what forced me to decide not to purchase the house. Cause it's alotta money and I guess in the end I wanted more for said money ;)
    Like:
    1. Love the court yard. In Landmark, a game that let you build houses, I totally had that in my last house. Love it, awesome, yay!
    2. a Barn...really love it :)
    3. Nice outside area overall-that's a win for me. The gazebo..yes please!
    4. The unevenness of the inside..little raised areas here or there that gave it depth.
    5. the balcony overlooking the courtyard. 'Nuff said.

    Dislike:
    2. No access to the higher towers around the estate.
    3. No access to the back towers.
    4. No access (or easy access) to the walls running around the estate.
    5. No access to the tippy top of the home itself
    6. (and this is true of all houses) no true windows. I literally..in real life..almost get a bit claustrophobic in these houses as it seems the walls close in on me. It's esp frustrating in the barn, which is small to begin with. I want to see outside
    7. 700 item count. I could spend that in the courtyard alone.
    8. the colors are muted. Now, this is a personal preference. I prefer the color scheme of the Mathison Manor. I want the water to be bluer, the grass to be greener.
    9. the cost :)

There's taking assets from the game and giving them to us to play with and there's giving us something so darn tasty we literally toss our money at you. This just didn't have enough of the latter for me. I"m not complaining. Every purchase has to be decided on. I just wanted to offer some feedback in case in the future it can be considered.

The Grand Topal Hideaway had more bang for your buck. Two decent sized huts, and TONS of space outside, and you can even go out into the water a bit before the slaughterfish got ya. I have a makeshift bathroom in the Daggerfall Overlook that is bigger than the "master bedroom" of this place.

I previewed it and in my opinion it's just not worth the price. Even as a guildhall there are so many better options.

Every time I come to the forums, which is becoming very infrequent, I see some new thing in the store. Something barely functional that costs $100 and is limited time to prevent saving up sub crowns. Then I leave in disgust, disappointment and remembering how much fun I used to have in this game :(
    May all beings have happiness
May they be free from suffering
May they find the joy that has never known suffering
May they be free from attachment and hatred

We are all complaining about that this shouldn't have been crownstore only, since it's the Imperial Manor so it should have been buyable for gold IF you have the Imperial Edition, like ALL the other Imperial Houses. But nop, instead we get this abortion.

Can someone that doesn't own the dlc for the gold coast visit this house if a friend owns it?

Yes, you can visit and you can buy regardless of DLC access. If you do not have access to Gold Coast you will be teleported to your prior location when exiting. You cannot walk up to the house from outside even if you own it. You will have to access via Collections.

I agree and it's been bad since Morrowind...
    1. I have a screenshot of my character standing on an invisiwall in mid air and am saddened by the lack of access to the obvious battlements towers and main home upper levels*
      4cc4e9ba891ade1a57a14fbb245f828b.png
    2. Hakkvild's High Hall still has a hole in the scenery.
      30f4717602795cc2109a8ccfbab36ff3.png
    3. Tal Galen is garbage by comparison to pre morrowind homes. that tower needs to be taller (due to lacking outside space) and have a balcony. to overlook the area.
    * Compare various existing homes, daggerfall overlook is bigger, forsaken stronghold has more internal area and open upper area access, these newer homes need to be better than a cheap copy pasta.

Looks like ZOS should stop creating new content and instead focus on polishing, improving and fixing existing stuff for a few months.
...obviously that's not going to happen. Ever. And especially not with Bethesda game.

Note that the barn stays empty and the courtyard redraws the same trees in situ.

The price is insane. The limited time offering in order to rob SUBSCRIBERS who are ALREADY PAYING YOU ZOS by making it impossible to simply save for via your sub with its far too small stipend of crowns is just incredibly sleazy. The poor implementation of housing in general, which still has laughably low player caps, to say nothing of the item limits and deliberately poor lighting so you're forced to buy far more lighting objects than you'd want to is shifty or possibly just really poor design, neither of which is acceptable. Do better by us ZOS.

I really liked this house, but $100 is being greedy and unreasonable. Also the limited time availability is insulting to us plus member who already pay. I would buy this house for $10 maybe, but not for that crazy price. ZOS you hurt your customers with this one.
