Edit:also, no. Camping a boss does not rely on other people farming the other bosses. They have a fixed respawn timer. I've spent enough hours camping them to know that there's absolutely nobody going by for long periods of time (in the wee hours) and they still spawn on their own. The best part of that is that it guarantees loot every time, while when they get a forced respawn because the others are being farmed, they will drop gold and nothing else.

The only time dungeon bosses respawn outside of their set timer is when someone who has not completed the quest for that dungeon comes into the area the boss is located; at which point it forces a respawn, but your loot timer is still ticking away meaning you will only get gold for killing it until the next respawn.

Exactly. Public dungeon bosses are split in two types. Those that don't relate to any quest and those that do, like the Tonal Auditor's centurion in Rkindaleft. The centurion will spawn every time a player enters the room while doing the quest. He will not respawn if the player has already completed the quest, no matter how much they wait, and therefore cannot be farmed.

Sharga the Firestarter on the other hand is not part of any quest, much like most other public dungeon bosses. It matters not how many players go by who are doing the quest when she is not there; she will not automatically spawn unless:

a) the ~5 minute timer is up, which will make her respawn as usual;

b) there's enough people killing the other bosses so it forces her to spawn earlier.

When B happens she will not be off the cooldown for me if I had been camping her, meaning she won't drop any loot for me. But since she will always respawn regardless of quest stages she (and all the others that follow this pattern) can be infinitely farmed.

I got one piece yesterday (staves) in Rkindaleft. It dropped from a mob (LOL). So yes it drops and yes is very hard.
