What are your favorite things about ESO?

I've been seeing a lot of negativity on the forums today. I thought we could talk about things we actually enjoy in this game:

Player Agency (Generally)

I know some people may disagree with me here, but coming from other MMOs I feel like ESO gives you more of a choice about what you want to do with your character. This is big and small. I feel like the bounty and justice system gives you more control over your character than say WoW or Everquest 1/2. The justice system is completely unique, and adds a level of depth to the world that I'm really happy with.
The fact that my massive tank of a character can also max out legerdemain and thief lines is great. The fact that I can be a vampire, or a werewolf, or devote my life to the joys of blacksmithing is just something I haven't seen anywhere else. It feels real and meaningful, rather than cookie cutter.
This is not even mentioning the quests, the opportunity to make a choice in your character's story line that may or may not follow you. I like that, as a vampire, an npc who is hellbent on killing vampires might have different quest texts for me, or as a Khajiit that npcs will sometimes treat me differently. It feels immersive.

Community

I love that everywhere feels populated and alive. No matter where I go I find tons of people, and for the most part people are helpful and willing to jump in if you need them. It feels very much like Everquest 1 did around Kunark and Velious. The fact that there is no centralized auction house helps this I think. I find that zone chat can sometimes feel like zone wide general chat in old MMOs used to, with people calling PCs and asking for bids.
I was looking for a vampire bite the other day, and the person who sold me one took the time afterward to chat with me about being a vampire and what I'd need to do to level it up. He talked about the skills, and the advantages and disadvantages (and he listed the skin color as a perk!), and what I'd need to do if I wanted to change back. It felt very friendly and personal.

I could go on, but I've got to go to work.

I love that crafting has such a huge weight. In other games crafting is a waste of time.

I like the friendly people in the community. Yes, there will be some bad ones, but most have been helpful, and I try to use my 3 years of experience to return the favor to anyone I run into that has questions. I pug a lot (when not running with my guild) just to get a quick 100K XP while helping out newer players with dungeon mechanics. Someone helped me learn each dungeon, so I should help others.

I like the "realism" it offers compared to other MMO's.

Nothing is really out of proportion (character, weapons, armor, etc.) and it just looks so darn beautiful!

I love how the game breaks immersion by crashing my game a lot.

What I love about ESO is that there are so many options. You can have a great experience in PVE with almost any set up. You can craft or not. You can play pvp large scale or small scale. You can run trials with a group or just hit delves and dungeons solo. You can just wander around aimlessly. You can kill hours fishing. The list goes on and on. No its not perfect but it's pretty darn good.

The variety in build opportunities, between classes, resource management, sets, and champion points, is a huge plus for me, right next to the control scheme and actiony feel of combat.

Having an MMO where I'm already invested in the lore was the original reason I bought ESO. The rest was a pleasant surprise.

I'm a noob (playing since May) and what I love about it is choice, variety and depth of so many things.
I'm an altaholic so I have one of each class that I play but I have the choice to play them all differently and I like that because each time I log into a toon it's always fresh and new.

I came from wow where the game has turned very linear and repetitive, professions scraped, exploration cut back and end game is all group dungeons/raids. It wasn't fun to log in and play anymore.

The love the developers and company as put into game. It's such a wonders place where you could simply sit middle of town an appreciate the world around you. From duels, thieves, blacksmiths, adventurers, merchants and even murderers or even people chatting, it's a lively world. As such, I feel like this more then a game

In fact @ZOS_GinaBruno are you guys hiring ;)

The sheer size and complexity of the continent. this is something I wanted ever since oblivion, and this game, even if it annoyed me at first without having nature magic, is now my TES dream come true.
