I thought this was meant to be a helm intended for potential PvE tanking? I had block dropped by the transformation twice on a boss fight. Was holding down block but during the transformation the animation drops block for a second after I transformed both going to and from skeleton.

✭In pve you can wear disguises. Like skeleton polymorph it wont bug you upon proc and unlike polymorph wont make you look like ugly skeleton.
I was wearing the Thieves Guild costume with no hat on. Still transformed me into a Skeleton. I'll play around with costumes and see what blocks it and what does notPUG Life - the true test of your skill

Only Polymorphs and Disguises block it, costumes do not-PC/EU/AD-

There's a quest hub in Stillrise Village in Shadowfen called The Bargain's End. It gives the skeleton polymorph as a final reward.
