They just made it easier for me to stick with my idea of not buying crowns (as I find the latest price increase crazy +100% in asia)

    Yep another rubbish month.

And seriously...? Selling emotes separately now?

We can't even hotkey emotes in this game, like I'm going to pay for something I have to manually type into the chat window to summon...

OMG, never thought of it like that, you probably hit the nail on the head with that one. Well done Sydney! :)

'showcase' is a misnomer, in this case.

wouldn't even rate a flea market table, imho.

    sad. :/

Sheesh... when they put loads of new stuff in, the forums go insane "why u rip us off ZOS?" or " why u not put your resources into the game?" blah blah.
They have a lean month and we get "where's all the stuff Grrrrr"
I'm beginning to think this forum community will never be satisfied.....

No wonder it was delayed so long to announce it, well into the month.

It almost feels like they were ashamed to post it.

Last time I looked, there was no discussion thread in the usual place, either. I wouldn't have even known it was up if it hadn't been for this thread.

And I thought it couldn't possibly get any worse than August's lame crap. And they actually want us to pay for those basic, generic emotes that most mmos give out for free?

Will never pay for an emote. They should just be added to the game. Its a waste of time and resources to just make it premium crap.

They increased the price of crown bundles and now we have a month with very few of the accursed limited time offers.

I wouldn't bet money on this yet, but it's possible that these are early signs of a shift to a less evil crown store.

Or it might just be they're holding back this month to encourage newer players to buy the imperial DLC.

Purchasable emotes and dye stamps both boggle my mind as crown store offerings.

'limited time' dye stamps, at that.

to be fair, though, they've produced some of the most 'brilliant' costume colors in the game.

Google entitled, please. Being disappointed with a lack of things to buy with hard earned money doesn't fall even close to being entitled.

Yes, because wanting to buy something on a game automatically means you have no life! However will I survive!

So if wanting to buy things on a game makes you a geek, what does trolling and flaming on a virtual game's forum make you?

Edit: Also, I'm fairly certain that uploading a picture describing how a cat jumped on you while you were playing with yourself on your instagram is the epitome of attention *** (read: diva) and dorkiness. Quit projecting.

Re: emotes and dye stamps, I'd never buy them either, but then I have ESO+, so I don't need the dye stamps. For those without ESO+, that's the only way they can customize their costumes, so dye stamps seem alright to me, but they are a one-time use, so could get pretty expensive if you want to customize a lot.

As for the emotes, they're not that different from the personalities that people seem willing to throw money at. I was somewhat tempted with the one based on Naryu, but it only altered the walk, a couple of idles and, maybe one emote? What a waste of money that seems to me! But, others seem to like the personalities, so to each their own.

As for the limited offerings this month, another possibility is to entice players to buy more of the gamble crates when they're released.

I'd be happy if they stick to just one limited time item in a month, so I don't mind that there's only one this month. What is frustrating for me, and I think others, is that what's being added on a permanent basis is slim, especially considering the recent removal of yet more items from the store. It just seems like they're trying to force people into the gamble crates, by not putting much new in the store and removing items on a regular basis to make the CS look pretty basic - all the cool stuff is in the crates or limited time. Though I will say that some of the coolest stuff for me recently has been the Dunmer costumes - I've purchased all of them.

There is almost nothing good left to be bought with the normal pay-to-acquire method. Now everything good goes to the scam crates...

Sadly, that is the rot that sets in once gamble crates are introduced. Direct purchase stuff will drop in quality and quantity while the nicest things will be stuffed into the boxes. The rot took its next turn with these dwarven crates and drop-only mounts that can't even be purchased with gems.

While people keep buying the gamble crates, this rot will continue.

At this rate of decay, the crown store will be a desiccated, rotten corpse in no time. This coincides nicely with the 25% raise in crown prices for some countries. I probably won't buy any more crowns, though I will hang onto my eso+ (loves my craft bag!) and I have lots of nice things in my collection.
