Is this a visual bug?

Sometimes when I enter sneak, my character's armor turns completely dark black. I'm not talking about transparent or invisibility effect, I mean black like the armor itself was dyed black. It also doesn't happen every time, but more often than not. Is this wai or a visual bug? It looks kinda cool!

✭✭✭Its been in the game for a very long time. Think its only in PvP though. I remember seeing tons of Allies sneaking in one small spot and just see this black dark mass sitting there.0 -

✭✭✭It is a "Darkness Buff" of sorts. If you have several people stealthed (mostly a PvP thing) and you stand right on top of each other, that black glow will expand and the larger it is the closer enemies can come to you without seeing you. I have seen a enemy player literally ride 5 ft. from our group of 20 and not see us...
Its sort of tied to the detection mechanic I believe. And the visual is to show you are "hidden".
