It is definitely less useless than it was before (personally i think that title belongs to Training now).
All in all invigorating gives + 11 to magicka/health/stamina recovery - when upgraded to gold quality.

88 when you use 7 pcs of armour + shield. That is too little in my opinion. It should give at lest 129 when fully upgraded to gold.
It is far better to use divines + Atronach / Steed/ serpent / mundus.
But still it is better than Training.... ;)

Better than training? Are you insane? Training gear makes leveling a toon so much easier. Training is probably the top 3 most useful traits.

129 is not divisible by 7. 126 would work, which would allow for +5,7,11,15,18 per piece. That would be a good compromise as that would allow +11 for blue items, which would be enough to test, and if you need more, you can upgrade to higher quality.

They have to be cautious with the bonus. It will trump the divines trait.

I wonder if they should have just kept it prosperous as it was, but add something along the lines of reducing research times and/or more productive node picking. That way, prosperous would benefit you in more than just gold.

tbh just changing the base amount to 12 and increase it by 4 per tier would do the trick (12/16/20/24) all gold would be 24x7=168, not game breaking but alot better than what we currently have for "invigorating"

Prosperous only impacted the gold you looted from bodys, nothing else, including chests.

Put me down as a vote towards it being less useful than Prosperous. A farming alt Imperial character in 7 pieces Prosperous (purple quality, since gold Prosperous would've been utter waster of tempers) with ESO+ buff, offered a meaningful alternative for gold farming.

I hate ESO for the amount of *** it places under stealing and murdering. And the latest patch just placed more crap under stealing and murdering. My main is a Templar, who started out as an archetypal Paladin. Defender of the Oppressed and Protector of The Weak, all about Justice and doing Good Deeds.

Now he is a merciless murdering ***, who doesn't give a flying *** about anything or anyone, and kills, murders, steals and pillages everything in sight without a second thought.

Well that's how I play the game with him these days anyway. That's how I play the game with any of my characters. It's just how this stupid thing is set up. You need to kill and murder and steal everything from everyone.

I cannot bear to farm dungeons. It is too static and repetitive. The same mobs in the same places in the same order, time after time after time. So I can't make gold that way. Harvesting mats is an option, and something I do tend to do on occasions. But if you are farming an area that has other mat farmers running about, it can be really slow going and quite frustrating as well, especially if they leave partially farmed nodes in their wake. (I know that partial nodes do not really impact on the rate of mat acquisition, but they do add an extra mental strain to the process via disappointment.)

Farming imperial mobs was a good way to make decent amount of cash. Sure it was repetitive and boring, but it had this meditative quality to it. You know... Log in for an hour or so, and run around Vile Manse and AOE mobs to death. The presence of other players running about kept the mob spawn rate varied and thus engaging enough to be entertaining, but the absence of real boss fights, meant that you didn't really have to focus on playing the game, and could let your mind wander.

The extra gold that Prosperous gave, made that actually a plausible way to farm gold.

And you need a ton of gold, if you want all the crap that is available through murdering and stealing, without actually murdering and stealing.

Now Prosperous is gone, and the amount you get from Imperials is no longer sufficient to justify wasting time on this activity, so I am back to murdering and stealing everything from everyone and not give a *** about my character concept.

The only use for Invigorating is as temporary bit of gear you use while farming for a version you actually want. So yeah... I suppose people who use most of their active play time running dungeons might find it as an improvement over Prosperous, but still not something they would intentionally wear.

But to those of us who do not spend most of our game time on running dungeons, this change killed of a perfectly valid approach to gold farming, thus slimming down actual activities the game offers to it's players.

Farming mobs for gold and selling stolen items are marginal sources of making gold. Unless you bot or are really brain dead grinding mobs for gold will turn you off pretty fast. And in any case impenetrable was proven to actually work better at that since the saved repair costs were higher than the increase in dropped gold. They turned an useless trait into another useless trait. 70-80 extra recovery won't make any difference. If you are building for recovery in both stats you are way better off with Willow's Path in divines, dubious camoran/witchmother's brew and atronach/serpent mundus especially after they fixed that set to work with consumables buff and they also increased the recovery from those mundus.

I'm not certain it was still true immediately before Prosperous was replaced, but at one point Impen was superior to Prosperous for grinding:

    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/273766/why-prosperous-is-preposterous/p1

The thing about grinding mobs is that most gold is earned from selling looted items, not from the gold looted from the mobs -- Prosperous only boosted the latter.

I doubt anyone was profiting from their Prosperous builds as much as they thought they were.

Given that you only get 17 extra recovery per gold divines piece when using a recovery mundus, id say it's stronger than something like prismatic equivalent if it worked for set bonus.

11 is more than half of what the divines provides but to all three stats, so more overall. If it were to give 17 to each stat at gold I would say hands down better trait than divines on a healer or even a tank.
