ive got a buddy who knows just about everything there is on sorc. Since I dont main sorc, anytime I have a question or need to test I send him a tell.

So ya I would say he has been a good sorc mentor.

I have partners; Specific, special people who I'm lucky to be around in this environment.

They've done nothing but enrich the game for me, as well as making me a better person, and I hope I do the same for them.

    You know who you are!

Not anymore ...( ill just call him DOC good fellow ) then out of nowhere one day he said i lied to him...

no fact checking no nothing. pretty sure i was set up by 2 others that did not like me in the guild.

DOC would always ask me to tag along and i would ask him if he or anyone else needed a hand with things,

i think maybe the other 2 thought i was trying to take lead or something ... still don't understand it too this day.

it was my first BIG ESO debacle, it ended bad. also had some other people stick up for me as thinking about it now i think it

was the same 2 messing with him to further me out i guess on Facebook . i quickly left all behind and found some real nice

people in a new guild really good people.

Lets see if they see this ;)

I usually look to my wonderful guildies for advice, we have many experienced players willing to help.

There was one nice random person who taught me some things about dueling. I wrote about it here: Thank you to the duelist that taught me animation cancelling

My partner's main is a Dunmeri Dragonknight. Today I remade one of my earliest characters, also coincidentally a Dunmeri Dragonknight. Everything I know about flap-flaps and fire DoTs I learned from her.

I don't have a mentor in the literal sense, but I do pay attention to what certain other people say. I don't take any one persons word as gospel or anything, but I have learned a lot of things from a select group of players, and I respect their opinions on things.

I am a healer and while I don't have a healer mentor, I have run with an absolutely amazing tank. In multiple games now I've been the healer for this particular tank and this tank has made me a better and better healer as we encouraged each other to be the best. While I've only been back in ESO for a few months, we've progressed from doing delves together as little toonlets in to doing the odd vet dungeon.

Everything I am as a healer I owe to this tank.

It's usually me doing the mentoring, I've just been around since launch, done all content at competitive levels, so lots of people, mainly healers, come and ask me stuff. Always love helping out other players. But I do have my select few people I'll go to for build advice when I need it (:

When i first joined ESO I had no idea what i was doing, I used to go on UESP, ESO Wiki and so on to understand the content of the game, many times I used to group for dungeons and used to get bashed for bad gameplay, then I joined a guild, where they set me up for gear and taught me basic mechanics for playing as DPS.

With time I became a master crafter (not all motifs yet, missing the new ones) and unfortunately the guild is almost disbanded, so I started a guild specifically for newbies, to answer their questions and set them up with gear. It's a great feeling to be able to give back the help i had received a couple of years ago.

I usually teach. I theorycrafted my tank build even before I started the game by looking at wikies from the beta. I lead raids very early on. Saw them lead by others a few times, copied that and then made my own ways. I never had anyone really be a mentor. I was the mentor of others, still am.

I was entirely self made, baby. And ZOS had to keep a good man down.

When I was a newb - running a bow/bow build and struggling with multiple deaths in a public dungeon - I suddenly got a group request. I didn’t know exactly what that was but pressed okay. The character I found myself grouped with happened to be a max CP that obviously took pity on me.

Well, this character led me through the mini bosses, skyshard and dungeon boss. He would let me do most of the fighting while he provided what I later came to appreciate were the buffs and heals of a magnificent templar healer. When I found myself getting overwhelmed, my health was burst back to full and the foes around me simply exploded.

Once complete, my escort led me to the dungeon’s exit. As I was trying to gush my thanks on chat, he disappeared.

Well, that mysterious and kind character left an impact on me that remains strong to this day. ESO is my first multiplayer game and that character showed me how neat it can be to fill a ‘support/nurturing’ roll – something that is uniquely multiplayer. I also learned that being a high CP character provides a unique ability to help newer players. It is not by coincidence that my primary character is now a high CP templar healer – who goes out of her way to help run ‘overwatch’ on younger players who appear to be struggling and are willing to accept some support.
