Furnishings Storage Please

ZOS, please give us a way to store our unused furnishings other than our bank or mules. Furnishings just take up too much space. Thank you.

Between 8 toons and my bank, I already have 2,080 inventory slots and that doesn't even count the housing slots available from the base apartments for all of my characters and the Manor house.

Hoarders gonna hoard I guess, but damn - how much space do you really need

(480 bank slots + 200 inventory X 8 toons = 2080 inventory slots for those that don't math)

The point I'm trying to make is we should not have to store extra furnishings between our mules and bank. We need a centralized storage option that can be accessed in any of our homes (kind of like the crafting bag).

Can we also have apples and small stuff not count as items or maybe have each apple or small item count as 0.1. Adding 10 apples would be 1 inventory slot.

At bare minimum each house should have its own furnishing bank that can hold furnishings up to the amount placable without esoplus. But a crafting bag like furnishing storage would be nice too. Maybe even just the ability to set a home as a "storage room" where you can walk in and hit a button to dump all your furnishings on you and they get auto placed around

Housing storage? It's called a house. Just get another house. I bet it would cost you less than what you would have to pay for extra bank storage or a furnishing bag.

People will vote no on anything if you poll for it. If you asked if ESO should be completely "free" and there would be no repercussions for that because a Billionaire said he'd fund everything, people would vote "no". They'd even defend it as destroying the game or some such nonsense.

Storage containers in our houses would be a good thing. Even if they weren't connected, just so you could have a housing storage container for furnishings so you have that extra space.

This would be handy, as of now I am wasting a house which is just being used as a furniture warehouse. I bought some houses furnished and sort of wish I hadn't as some furnisjings I just don't want but also resent having to simply 'destroy' something that cost crowns.

Furnishings, once used, should not take up our limited storage space, even if they are no longer placed into a home.

This is one thing I like about SWTOR housing. Committed furnishings are stored in the in a bottomless separate area. There is a limit to how much of each item can be stored. Something like 100 of a specific chair (sitting) though the number of items can be muchless for more special items.

I personally have no need for such storage, but whilst I wouldn't be averse to adding more furnishing storage to houses there are other housing improvements that would have a higher priority for development resources for me - such as opening up all houses on an account to friends/second accounts rather than just the primary residence.

Again, it doesn't affect me personally, but I imagine there are plenty of players who would put an increase in the maximum number of people in a house well above an increase in the storage capacity in their list of priorities. If you subscribe, own multiple houses, and don't hoard unnecessarily there's no reason why you should run out of space. If enough people do, however, then perhaps a separate furnishings bag would be a better bet. However, I imagine that would be limited to subscribers so there would still be plenty of complaints.

House Vaults, sort of like EQ2's house vault, but only ESO furnitures, unless if they add recipes, motifs, and blueprints for new alts or new player friends joining.

And the point I'm making is that you don't need to hoard EVERYTHING that you touch. We have access to THOUSANDS of bank/inventory slots and with the craft bag (if applicable) you don't need it.

I do so love playing the "which alt and/or house did I leave that one luxury furnishing on, that I bought for eventual use, since they are limited time so if you miss it, you are out of luck, and/or have to pay exorbitant amounts of gold to re-sellers" game.

sometimes you might craft something extra and end up not needing all of it right away. sometimes your design ideas change and so you have left over furnishings from old idea. luxury furnishings. I can keep going. there is literally NO negative to having furnishing storage, anymore then there is a negative to craft bag.

do you hate fun? is that what is happening here?

I bought daggerfall overlook. Having furnished my other two homes, this has become my storage home for the time being. Sadly.
