Twice Fang Serpent - Purple jewelry drops where?

Does it only drop purple in veteran Sanctum Ophidia? Everything but final boss?

Also does the last boss drop VO gold jewelry as opposed to Twice Fang? Thanks

Weekly box, nSO for purps TFS. All craglorn trials have a chance to drop VO anywhere; last boss drops gold on Vet/VHM.

Blue comes from last boss and chests in normal mode, purple drops from chests in veteran mode and from those weekly canisters, and gold comes from final boss on veteran mode (2 if hard mode was enabled) also you can get golden jewelry from leaderboard mails.

Easiest way to get TFS jewelry is to do vSO HM, you get 2 golden jewelry. 1 is gonna be either Yokeda, Infallible or VO and the other is gonna be either TFS, Immortal Warrior or Wise mage. If you do vSO there really is no reason not to do vSO HM, its the easiest of the HMs and the fight doesn't really get that much more difficult.

Start with normal trails if you're not used to running them, you can still get useful weapons and gear.
Its also a great place to practice your rotation and get used to some of the trail mechanics.

And considering TFS has a higher drop rate in normal it makes sense to farm normal since OP isn't going for gold jewelry. Only issue is simple chests can spawn in normal.

vSO grants one loot piece, vSO HM gives two loot pieces, both gold.

I’ve done nSO many times with treasure hunter passive and never have gotten purple anything from chests

The drops are as follows:
- gold jewels: end boss on veteran, HM gives 2 and it's not much harder as it only adds one simple mechanic, the world shaper (big poison ball)
- purple jewels: locked chests on veteran, weekly quest coffer regardless of difficulty.
- blue jewels: end boss and locked chests on normal
So purple is actually the hardest to get
