If equally skilled, MagSorc would win—obviously. It would just be a resource management game, Sorcs have infinite sustain due to the shield stack>heavy resto>shield stack>rinse>repeat playstyle that resto offers.
That's without adding Pet Sorc into the equation—add in Pet Sorc and there's genuinely not even a hope for the StamSorc.Drakkdjinn wrote: »
Just put a trap inside mines , its not so hard kill a magsorc if you know how to do to beat them.
I literally didn't even type the word "Mines"—and if you think putting a rearming trap down inside of mines is the secret answer to killing MagSorcs—especially in my scenario where they have 50k max mag and two pets, you're just wrong. It's a game of pressure, and you cannot build something in ESO with more pressure in a 1v1 than PetSorc—not after the proc set nerfs. Pets literally give the same effect as proc sets—free damage—only it's twice as good.
Oh, and when pressure is being applied to you it costs less resources to shield stack + heavy resto than it does for the other player to use offensive abilities.
If there are immov pots involved, the Stam sorc would win.
If not, the mag sorc. Stam sorcs need crits to get their heals, and so Mag sorcs are particularly strong against them.
I don't know why everyone here seems to think Stam sorcs are a weak 1v1 class. They most certainly aren't. They're virtually unkillable if they run immov pots and get passed dmg shields because of how ridiculously OP the crit surge ability + hurricane + dual wield is.
