Saw someone selling cp 180 gear. What to think of it??

So I wanted to post this a few days ago but never really found the time to do it. In the chat a player wanted to sell a maelstrom staff even though it was already bound. The staff though was normal quality and has a cp of 180.

    Its an item code you can link in chat. You can link non-existant items like blue vMA staves etc.

    Cp 180 gear does not exist at the moment. Not sure what you saw. That link looks fishy.

    Its possible and trolls use them sometimes.
    At IC release, people used to "sell" cp180 golden willpower items. :D It was 2 years ago, but they still dont exist.
    Also I saw people claiming that vMA weapons drop in nMA and linking lvl 20 vMA staves and other weapons.

    I took the screenshot it was on Xbox One. I would've used Imgur but it's not working for me atm.

    Don't feel bad, it would fool most, had been more fun with something more plausible like an bind on pickup maelstrom weapon after next update saying update broke bind on pickup on it.
    How many would you get farming vMA :)

    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
