I personally prefer just to sharpen and increase contrast. The bloom is too much when there are a lot of lighting effects

Too fuzzy for me personally. I had to adjust my screen and glasses. Using soft focus in order to emphasize the photo subject a part from the background is one thing but it looks more like I'm seeing through a grease covered window. Sorry
