What else are you going to do with your thumb?

I have potion use bound to the ALT key.

Add stamina cost to jump, make break free cost magicka. I have no problem with it being used in a skillful manner but all skills should have a cost and have to be accounted for with regard to sustain. All the people that say they do it for no skillful reason at all can then quit doing it and looking stupid or run out of stamina and quit doing it and looking stupid.

That's a good idea, no need to stop strafing left while using a pot.

BTW as a sorc, it's nice for tossing frags and curses over hills, bumps and rocks that block los. It's not as cool as AWP head-shots on dust, but its as close as eso gets.

That game right there is the reason I jump from time to time, old habits die hard :hushed:

If you cast BOL on a friend and you are running forward, it will momentarily stop you moving. A really annoying bug for a class that has no mobility.

However if you cast and jump forward you don't stop.

    That's why I do it.

The biggest reason is to maintain movement speed while casting channeled abilities including heavy staff and bow attacks.

There is also a z-axis issue with ranged light/heavy attacks missing when fighting on slopes which may be more likely when jumping, but I've never tested to be certain.

Oh. Thank you. It's an exploit. That's what I figured. Thank you.

Edit: Had to add that I'm not calling you cheaters. Animation cancelling is an exploit. I'll remind everyone that "exploit", "hidden feature", and "mark of a skilled player" are all synonymous in ESO.

It's not an exploit, it's a bug that came in this patch, you never used to stop moving forward when casting BOL on a friendly target. It doesn't stop you running forward when you cast it on yourself, so it is most definitely a bug.

Since they changed BOL to be cast on people in front of you, I'm assuming it is to do with a LOS check and momentarily stops you moving.

You need understand what people are actually talking about here. It's a bug that needs fixing.

Hahahahaha. Why does it bother you so much?

I know, dude. I completely understood what you were talking about. Did you see my following post? After you explained, I went and tested. Exploit was definitely the wrong word. I'll edit for accuracy. My bad.

...it's a player performed workaround for something not quite working as intended. I didn't even know about the BoL thing until Elong pointed it out. I hardly use BoL on my PvP healer. Elong has made a jumper out of me in regards to that little, yet significant, glitch.
