Are CPs which affect same thing additive or multiplicative?

More specificaly,
I get 12% increased flame damage from elemental expert.
I get 23% increased dot damage from thaumaturge.

Do my flame dots get increased by 35% (1+0,12+0,23) or 37,76% (1,13*1, 23)?

Can I use answer to this question as precedense, thus assuming it works like answered in any similar case with different CPs?

Thanks for answers.

Yes. Almost all positive percent modifiers are additive. There are a few outliers, but, if you're looking at PvE DPS sets and buffs, you shouldn't run into any.

An example outlier is torug's pact's multiplicative nature w/ the infused weapon trait. It's important for tanks and some PvP builds, but doesn't affect a PvE DPS build's calculations.

Yes, they are additive. This is because the bonus percentage is always applied to the base damage. If this were not the case, the game would be a broken mess of one-shot abilities (which it only is in some places, thankfully x) )

Does the same apply to passives such as Ancient Knowledge or buffs like minor slayer?

So if I am taking all modifiers into count, I must count them because all of them are additive?

There used to be many things that were multiplicative, such as minor force, major force, class crit damage modifiers, and the shadow mundus. Game wasn't broken, but DPS was quite high and failure to wear impen in PvP was a death sentence.
