I think it would be cool if your guild could buy a castle and use the in-game gold to upgrade it in different ways and then fight other guilds like attackers vs defenders or both guild castle are facing each other from a distance and the first guild to capture the other castle wins.

Can do this for free. Called Cyrodiil as a guild group1 -

Had a hard time understanding this at first, but notimetocare is right (kind of): go to Cyrodiil, claim a keep and defend it. After combat, don't forget to repair. And there you have it: your guild castle, for free, and upgradable after each battle. Whoever captures it, wins. No need to spend in-game gold or crowns.
