Character Birthday Cake

I think our characters (Character Specific) should get a birthday cake annually on their birthday that gives 100% xp, AP, and gold from vendors and loot (no guild stores) for 24 hours between 0000 and 2359 server reset time.

I could see account based, but the reason I suggest character is because it is a known fact that people who play multiple characters stick around in a game for longer than people who get burnt out on one. So it's a small incentive to go on alts and maybe fall in love with them too. Helping ZOS make money lol

This an adorable idea. Probably only once a year since I could see this used wrongly. Plus.. I can see such people buying crowns that day as a result of it. Not to mention it builds loyalty.

Great idea.

Make sure it's dyable, too, so that it is unique to the character.

Lol what? You can do whatever you want. And it's not your birthday, it's your characters birthday. I never said anything about it being your birthday.

I like this idea, but they should let us choose which day per character that is. Otherwise someone who started all their characters on the same day is screwed compared to someone who didn't.

You bring up a very good point, but that could have another issue where people would just choose a birthday that's most "optimal" for each character. What I suggest instead is allowing a player to choose a birth date within the same month from the time of character creation. For example if my character was created in August, I would be able to choose any date between August 1st and August 31st. Alternative is a date within 15 days period either forward or backward.

I like the idea of an @account birthday that applies to all characters. I think the character birthday would be too complicated.

That said, the main problem that I see with this is that these birthdays could happen at the same time as a regularly scheduled event. For those people who have their birthday during an XP event, they either get to stack XP every year, or they get to use one or the other, but not both. For those people who don't have their birthday at that time, if the birthday account got to stack XP, that would hardly be fair.

Or just have it so we can use the cake from the anniversary event as many times as we want, but only have the buff once a day that way we can also share it with anyone we invite to the party?
