The topic was the midyear mayem event, and this bring me back when there was massive battles with almost no lag and evry campaign full of people, yes I'm one of the ones who have no lag right now, so I'm enjoing fresh blood in pvp.
Lot of people started as noobs the first day of the event and as for today the fresh blood is seasoned and more fun to fight.
Best time since the light effects patch where 90% leaved eso pvp for goodSignature0 -

Guess what... I have no idea, and i even have a 4mb download 0.5mb upload net, but in every situation the ping stay at 120, 250 when i have a lag spikeSignature0 -

Me too. I never thought I would have so much fun PVPing. This was the best holiday event ZOS created.
About the load screens and queues, I did not experience delays nor lags. I crashed a couple of times, but then it was my Internet. When I switched to mobile data plan hotspot, it worked like a charm. From the morning the event started to yesterday night I had played 14+ hours/day. The worst I experienced in the queue was when I was the number 103 in line. And even then, the line took only 2.5 to 3 minutes. By the way, I was on Shor campaign.

You're talking as if getting those achievements was hard. I got the 50 kills one and the cyro/IC ones during a 1.5 hour session and the rest during the following days one hour session. I'm in medschool, so that pretty much says everything you need to know about how much free time I have (albeit it is summer now so I have a bunch).

Thrymbauld✭✭✭I've seen more good fights than I had in a couple months prior. I've also seen some terrible stuff.....we're almost a week in , let's stop thinking we can drink keep oils or that my vigor stamina heal is going to carry you through tanking a doorway already, folks.
The rather pathetic performance issues are real, and with the high pops it shows that very little improvement has been made since beta, which is really disappointing.
It also shows the complete idiotry of putting the imperial city DLC in the cyrodil population mix, if any side is hitting that stuff hard, they're likely to get gated with nobody able to even enter and defend it. Imperial city has to be the worst imbalance to pop-cap the game could ever have.
The negatives that the event has displayed are entirely the onus of Zenimax---they are entirely game code/server performance related.
But there are plus sides. The vast majority of the "PvE noobs" will happily siege a keep, and most have learned how to push forward. Some have even learned how to put a survival skill on their hotbar. They do not whine about zergs(seriously PvP vets, knock it off with that, we're taking down castle walls, not skirmishing in backyards). They do not whine about "bombs" on resource flags, even when they get toasted. By and large, they do not teabag when they win, and do not rage tell when they lose. In a weeks time, they've learned how to impen, dodge roll, and other rez each other far more than they did last Friday. Frankly, they've added a touch of class to the chaos they've brought in and as to the people, I'm generally glad to see them.
I hope we do it again, and I hope an honest look is taken at the technical problems because the bonuses of the event can bring in and keep players, if the cheapskate performance minuses don't drive them off again.1 -

Well you are right, i was randomly enjoing the event since i dont care about the archivements but then i saw here a post about the lauiriel "hat" and got it in less than two hours (except the boxes) but i got that archivement on six toons so it was just "pick one random toon and get the hat"Edited by Tonnopesce on July 28, 2017 4:53PMSignature0
