are guards in cyro supposed to reflect the above, i thought it was projectiles.

    Eclipse also reflects my elemental drain back at me. I've heard it even reflects elemental storm

    cyrodiil guards are out of control and even one of the devs commented they shouldn't be acting that way. Too bad he commented that like 2 patches ago, I've seen 5 NPCs all using the healing beam(workers/dk guards/etc) at same time.

    All the Cyrodiil NPCs and basically use every class skill
    I'm a PVE roleplayer concerned about my vampires stage 4 skin tone and keep getting load screens so I came here to distract people from major issues with a rant thread about my characters cosmetic appearance.

    I haven't had any issues with it reflecting aoe's only single target from my experience.

    The NPC skill is different than the player skill. It doesn't reflect all magicka attacks, but it reflects a lot of them.

    If you are soloing a resource as a mag DK, talons + deep breath is your friend. Either go in the tower and kill the mage guard first, or use wings to kill the mage guard while you are waiting for the flag to flip.

    Khajiit has also noticed the DK's popping heals on others. Although this one wants them to act like real S+B DK's, spam alternating talons and petrify and a Dragon leap.

    What can this one say, Khajiit likes a challenge ☺

    That may be the case now, but every time they change a class ability, the guards abilities also change. Guard eclipse was breakable before eclipse was made unbreakable in the last update.

    Also i cant cc break it and its spam casted at me. Can barely keep it off with purge. It's annoying to have to swap abilities just to take a resource

    Boo Hoo? Whats your point? You are soloing resources wrong if you go to run on the flag anyway. The correct way to do it is to run past the guards into the tower, let the healer and maybe a DK guard follow you up the stairs, kill them, then kill the mage gaurd before going back downstairs and out onto the flag.

    Besides, if you find they reflect a particular skill...dont use that skill when they eclipse you, focus on AoEs and heals to stay alive.

    I didn't say it was hard to take a resource.

    I also don't need to waste time by kiting the npc's... this thread has nothing to do with how hard people think resources are.

    The fact is the skill is bugged and is acting like it did on release, it's already been acknowledged as a bug whats your problem?

    Just another way in which the game favors stamina users.

    LoL, you are kidding right? Magicka user have a resource pool+ dodge/block/run pool. Stam users only have the one shared pool except for the occasional magicka skill. For instance...my stam DK uses a whole one magicka skill(igneous weapons) and every other skill relies on stamina, plus I have to dodge/block/run with that same pool(40k stam). On my magicka DK, I have one stam skill(trap beast/rearming trap) but I still have 40k magicka plus an additional 11k stam I can use to dodge/block/run. From my view they are about the same...its harder to get out of roots and the like on my magicka DK, but my stam DK is far squishier because I am forced into medium armor to stand a chance against an equivalent magicka build.

    Magicka users have a limited pool from which to draw from for CC break, dodge roll, etc. You spend that stamina at the wrong time, then get CCed, well congratulations you can bend over and kiss your rear goodbye. Not saying it can't be overcome, with an inkling of skill it can be. Stamina users can, to be quite frank, screw up as much as they want as long as they have the resources for CC break and such. Heals are weaker, there's no real damage shield, but eh it is what it is.

    Also if you're using medium armor in PvP then you're probably doing things wrong if you want to be meta. If you're having trouble against a magicka DK build then truthfully I don't know what to tell you. Is your character a vampire and melting to the fire damage? Because that might be your problem.

    I'm not saying stamina is wrecking people, I'm just saying a larger stamina pool is useful in PvP and only magicka users can be hit with specific forms of CC (silence and reflect only really effect magicka users). With half a brainstem any magicka user can work around these issues but the larger stamina pool does favor stamina users in PvP.

    Tue enough, but magicka builds have other advantages. Streak for the sorc for example, all of them have access to purge. I never actually see magicka DKs in Cyrodiil(aside from the one I take in from time to time). I meant equivalent in a generic magicka vs stamina build kind of way. Yes, I know, I can use heavy armor on my stam DK and be just fine, but I lose a lot of utility doing so, weapon damage, dodge roll cost reduction, etc. I cant honestly say one is more effective than the other...most of my deaths seems to come from Mage's Wrath after all, not from a stam build.
