MDK execute alternative

    Just like playing EP on PS4 NA, MDK has been played as hardmode for so long that if you made MDKs in line to other classes they would murder everything.

    Im not sure why all these players come in here saying it would make them OP when it would just balance the class. Its like saying sorcs have to use overload as an execute cuz if they had mages fury they would be OP.

    200% to flame damage abilities? Are you ok lol? My flame lashes do 25-27k fully buffed with war horn and spc and spell weave procc'd imagine with 200% extra damage.

    Ah, the old PVE excuse of damage being great so there's no need for an execute! While I agree a PVE execute is of little benefit, it's PVP where it is needed given all the Sorcs, Templars and Stamina weapon users who are running around with executes and who do more damage and have more mobility (maybe not a Magplar) than Mag DKs. An execute is needed because even when Flame Lash procs for that second hit (which is very seldom in PVP), the two hits might total one third of your PVE damage above. The skill cannot hit anywhere near that hard in PVP.
    You dont need execute in pvp you have a infinite cc that has no cool down its one of the reasons they are kings of 1v1.

    If you struggling with magdk in pvp then it just isnt the class for you. L2p :)

    This second quote along with the first one tells me you don't play PVP much, if at all. Given all of the Immovable pots in Cyrodiil not to mention rampant Shuffle abusers and roll dodge costing less than Talons and Petrify, DKs do not have an infinite CC like you think they do.

    Making Whip do 50% more damage against low health PVP only targets while reducing the base damage of the skill by 10-15% would be an easy perhaps ideal implementation of an execute for Mag DKs.

    I mean, honestly, ZoS just needs to give mDKs a "passive execute" like Sorcs.

    Immolate: your flame damage abilities do ##% more to targets under 25% health.
    Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

    Magdk is in a good place atm. I main one and have no problem killing most people and survivng but the amount of times I've almost had someone finished off and they heal back to full because I don't have leap ready is insane especially templars that purge all my dots. While I would love an execute, magdk is too strong and I wouldn't expect any buffs any time soon. They may not be mag sorc level but they're not too bad

    Wow, killer- you must be confused. So, you were just bragging about a 25-27k flame lash that would be buffed with warhorn, SPC, and BSW... and then you say mDKs are the king of 1v1 because of a spammable CC? What game are you playing?

    So, are you saying that mDKs are OP because they receive group buffs during PVP like everyone else? (I'm not sure where you got that ridiculous 25k flame lash) Or are you saying that mDKs are OP because they can spam talons during 1v1... in which they receive no group buffs to make an imaginary 25k flame lash? Please... post a picture for all of us "L2P" people- so that we can figure out how to do a 25-27k flame lash during a 1v1!
