Think it is mostly with AoE DoT effects, worst case is if two ball zergs engages and you will have hundred AoE active at once, DoT, buffs debuffs HoT. I'm not sure how they have a server that can handle thousands of PvE instances involving tens or thousands of players, but three Alliances pop lock across a single zone and the server simply vomits?

I know this is going to be a pretty uncommon occurence from the sounds of it...
But last night once they opened up the new campaign I was in within 15mins, and aside from a small bit of lag in the very biggest battles I was actually thinking how noticeably better it was compared to 18months ago.
This is on PC/EU btw.
Its not perfect yet... but its a lot better than it was.
