Read chat.

Advantages: Not getting wiped from behind while you are courageously defending from wall above maingate, because you never bothered to notice there is breach happening from the other side of the keep

Disadvantages: Someone will complain about bridge

By the way, I think the timming wasn't optimal for an event launch, they should have started it after the campaign

This is super helpful. I've done a little Cyrodiil (and a lot of PvP in other games) but there's a lot of "Huh, I never thought about that" tidbits in here.

What would be the best class/build to learn PvP with? Not necessarily something that is dominant, but that is more forgiving when you make mistakes and lets you survive long enough to observe what is going on.

Only advice I can give: If you play with a pad on PC, prepare to get rekt. People are dancing circles around me, it feels like everybody else is playing Dark Souls. Playing a ranged build will make your experience much more enjoyable.

"Best" - I would say the class/build you most enjoy playing. They are, IMHO, all competitive and the whole idea is to have fun, not feel forced to play something people aren;t excited about.

"Easy" - is going to be in the eye of the beholder and also going to depend on what people are accustomed to playing. Also this will change from update to update. All things being equal, I would say a magicka sorcerer has the shortest learning curve because it has powerful ranged attacks, good shields for defense, a skill that allows them to potentially escape, and a easy to use "execute."

For this event, it should be noted you can collect a Midyear Boon Box for every quest you find at the base camp (not including Fighter's Guild Bounty quests): Kill 20 players, Capture a keep, Capture a resource, Capture a scroll, and Scouting. So if you're inexperienced and having trouble getting to 25, or there's just not much going on at the moment, you can farm those scouting quests for boxes.

This answered a lot of questions. Alas, I live in Turkey and the ping is about 150 ms approximately. Therefore, I can not CCbreak, I can not stealth that fast etc... But it's still fun to see the ganker who kills you dies in pain.

During a siege, put down 4 standard ballistas in a diamond pattern. You can use them all without moving.

Don't worry about packing up siege equipment when an inner wall goes down and there's pressure to cap the flags quickly. Just leave it. You won't run out of AP to buy more.
