I don't think it's unreasonable to want to play in your home campaign.

It's also not unreasonable to go play in a lower pop campaign while you queue for home. Especially if you're going to Home to the always busy continually cried about because of locks campaign. Which looking at the campaign statuses right now I am guessing OP is Homed to Vivec.
Go play in Shor, it was turned into a CP campaign because Vivec players kept whining for it.
every PC/EU server is locked atm...more smarts hints pls
The least they could have done is open another campaign for the duration of the event, no end campaign rewards or whatever, just an open field.

I don't think it will help much.
Traditionally, ESO PVP players all shove themselves into the same camp.
We saw this with True Flame vs Haderus.
We see this now with Vivec vs Shor,
People who don't know any better tend to go where the population is and follow the rest of them right into the cramped campaign.
I watched people on this forum moan for a month about adding another CP campaign. They turned the 7day no CP into a CP enabled campaign and it hardly changed a thing, and people were, up to yesterday, still moaning about Vivec being poplocked.

Because vivec players kept crying?? Get off of the pedestal! Serious tho last time this event happened all servers were hurting, we asked if they did another AP event to ad more to spread out the population just for the event and to get rid of the enormous queue's.
Do you think it's fair for the main pvpers that work for a living to come home to a queue of 500+ not really, yes we can pvp on another server till our home queue pops but the whole point is zos knew each campaign would be poplocked from the start and to ignore adding additional campaigns for this event to prevent long queues and enormous stress on the servers is beyond me!

Usually, yes. At prime time during a PvP event? Not so much. Adding up all the queues during prime time, that would have been enough to fill another campaign. But as soon as prime time was over, only Vivec was pop-locked and the others were sitting around 2 or 3 bars. So it's hard to say what's best. Do they spin up another campaign for prime time, only to have it unused for the rest of the day?paulsimonps wrote: »There are more than enough campaigns for us all.
