I originally signed up for the beta. Played in some of the Beta. Even have the little pet monkey beta reward following me around in the game. But I didn't like the game then. To be honest, I was looking for skyrim 2, which this is not. So I left during beta and have not really been back since. About a month ago I returned with an open mind to give this the chance I should have given it in 2013. I'm still a little lost and not sure how to do some things, so if this is in the wrong place, then I apologize, I wasn't sure where to ask this. so here we go.

Will Morrowind go back on sale before the upcoming event?
For the pvp stuff ( event related and otherwise ) is there a level restriction?
Why is there no real direction on what to do in the game?

    - Morrowind is already on sale at $38.95 on Amazon. However this does not come with any DLC's.
    - You can start PvP'ing from lvl 10, and there are different categories of PvP that accommodate all players.
    - MMO usually doesn't have a real direction to speak of with exception of quests. Can you give me some examples from other MMO's? In ESO there are main quest line and also faction quest line from each faction but the rest is really up to you.

This game is more like Skyrim than it was at launch.

For one, everything is scaled to CP160, you, the mobs, everything. Well, loot is leveled until you reach CP160. Also, the zones are no longer locked behind Alliance Content. Want to start out in Rivenspire, then do Reapers March, then go to Stone Falls you can.

All zones drop Special Sets now, so gear is easier obtain, both while leveling and when end game.

As for Direction in the game, just like Skyrim you make your own direction. Pick a point on the compass and walk towards it. You will find something to do. If you want to do the zones main quests, then talk to NPCs in the first main town for the zone (not always the capital) and they will get you headed off in the right direction.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Example from other mmo's? sure. Take SWTOR for example. They have a main character quest. they have planet quests that would be like the city quests here. but they also have intro quests. Quests that introduce you to pvp or the ship fights in space. They have intro quests into crafting and housing and how it all works. Once you finish the main quest they have another quest to lead you to the next big set of quests for you ( expansions ).

I played a couple hours when I come back before I bought the ESO plus. So when I bought it, still playing my first toon, I had the greeter come up to me for the Orc quest line. I didn't take it at first but every time I come into the city there they were following me wanting me to accept their quest. maybe I'm still a little overwhelmed. just not sure what to do or what I should be doing.

As for the Morrowind being on sale. It was on sale for like $26 US not long ago and i was just curious if it would be again soon.

This. I was part of the original beta, too, and one of my concerns at the time was that it didn't seem enough like an Elder Scrolls game. Now it absolutely seems like Elder Scrolls.
