Ok. My firend says Nirnhoned with outperform everything else at this rated and most of the time I beleive him but I thought Nirnhoned only applied to weapon light/heavy attacks and weapon ABILITIES, not just weapon and spell damage? Help with this?

Currently 11% boost to weapon damage. With upcoming DLC if I remember correctly it will be a 15% boost. Someone with more Intel than I will chime in soon.

Is that a boost to the stat or just the Damage done by the weapon?

15% boost to the base weapon damage your equipped weapon provides, not the overall weapon damage and not the damage done.

Nirnhoned will be really good if you have low offensive stats, since its a fixed value damage increase (modified by Major brutality and spellpower, but still a fixed number). Sharpened and precise scale on your total damage, so the more damage you do, the better they scale.

Your weapon- and spelldamage based from weapons weapondamage :p . When your weapondamage is higher, your shown weapondamage and spelldamage is higher too ;)

I believe I know what your friend is getting at. When it comes to damage scaling, there's typically a 10:1 stamina to weapon damage (WD) ratio, but when it comes to light/heavy attacks the influence of WD becomes stronger, and the ratio becomes 40:1.

With that said no, Nirnhoned will not become BiS in PvE. PvP however, is a different story.

Is it though? Infused will be far superior to nirnhoned in PVP.

Infused doesnt influence healing. Im sure by the end of pts they will have stealth or announced adjusted enchant proc chance.

They're both really good options. I'm more of a fan of Nirnhoned because as mentioned earlier infused does nothing for your healing. But if you lack damage, Infused is the way to go.

With that said I do plan on running with an infused bow on my back bar in order to finish off my opponents.

Infused does, if you use Weapon/Spell Damage enchant. Lil over 400 iirc with around 80-90% uptime.
