It won't affect me at all because I'm still nowhere close to getting BIS gear. lol

It will affect me significantly on my DK because all of his sets were nerfed. He was wearing:

Troll king (RIP)
Torug's Pact (RIP)
Viper (RIP?)

I've already bought infused weapons for a few different sets. With the change to infused, I can get close to the weapon enchant bonus I was getting with Torug's + infused on live. So I can replace Torug's with a damage dealing set and actually come out ahead.

The biggest thing I'll miss will be trolling. That set's health regen was so clutch in PvP. I'll have to replace it with bloodspawn or pirate skeleton, not sure which. Probably bloodspawn.

I think I'll keep viper for a while. I'm toying around with replacing Torug with seventh legion, fury, or shacklebreaker. Will try 7th first.

I am getting buff, solo PvP is being buffed (rip the most annoying procs) and more variety with traits.

It won't affect me, I will be very happy to see those no skill nb with 3 proc sets go back to their orignal main and let people like me who knows how to Nightblade without proc enjoy this game again.

Why tho?

Sharpened was worth 5160. ZOS took some of that away, so now it's 2752, and that is 2408 less than you had.

However, ZOS also just gave you 30 more champion points. If you take only 27 of those and put them into piercing you will get back 2466 penetration.

So at the end of the day you have a few more champion points to spare, and the stam and crit buffs on your armor got stronger...

Yes but it looks to be more beneficial to go precise weapons and the Lover mundus stone (penetration) due to sharpened and thief nerf.

As a Tank in PvE this changes little, but I might go back to running Torug's Pact with Infused Crusher instead of Dragon. Will see.

all changes are positive lol, the dps will be higher by a long shot, and the sustain is easier too, no nerfs to heals/tank, so nothing affects them. there are only positive changes, and the new monster masks are sweet

Not sure why this is a big deal. Out of all the reagents, Nirn is the easiest to find bar none. I actually find it pathetic that they took action on this non-issue while ignoring real issues.

The best thread I've seen on that topic is the one posted by Asayre here:

TLDR: it looks like sharp / lover is best for solo content and infused / precise + shadow is best for group content next patch.

That said, the point is the 'next best' weapon trait in either scenario is going to be a lot closer than it is now, which is ultimately going to make getting good weapons a lot easier, and that is ultimately why I'm all for the weapon trait adjustments.

Stam here and my build on pts right now: Still at penetration cap, volley damage increassed, crit went up to 90% and I'm running shadow mundus stone. only 20 points into penetration when alone, and 4 when someone else in group. Did a VERY bad parse just to see how it would go, got 44k. all with PRECISE weapons, so yeah no sharpened.

seriously though, i'm sorta worried b/c currently i'm playin mostly non-cp pvp and i can't use Pen.cp to make up for Sharpened nerf.
If i go with the Pen. mundus i'll def. have to do alot of jugling in my build and yeah... math.

I think change is good, mainly as my PvE sorc build was nerfed into the ground in Feb update and I haven't really rebuilt it yet.

Proc set reduction is good but no where near enough. In particular the way OP stamina combos.

PvP build is staying the same. Tho I think TBS offers some cool options now

I might try a different mundus for fun but overall all my set ups should remain the same.

The next patch will have quite a big impact on most of my characters. But, it's not the strongest who survive but those who are most adaptable to change.

I pretty much have this exact same setup, but with 1 Iceheart because of two staffs. Are you using DW\Resto staff? How is that for sustain and light attack weaving?

I won't be able to get all the gold furnishing recipes I wanted before they are switched out (my luck with writs is beyond abysmal) on a plus side - BATHTUB. that's pretty much the effect that new update will have on me. its possibly I may go and change my mundus or something. otherwise, its pretty much business as usual.

I didn't post my stats just to post stats. I posted them to show the difference between Live and PTS. They are the EXACT same pieces of gear. Everyone is complaining that this patch is a nerf. In a way it is...for certain builds. Other specs got buffed as I demonstrated.


Oh, and it's "patronize" btw. Just to let you know
