Pay for appearance change once the changes have been selected

Hello,

I would like for the option for you to be able to mess around with the appearance change, and then at the end you can confirm and pay for it.

I thought my character was a bit too small, so I bought a appearance change token - turns out I'm the tallest my character can be, so I didnt need the token. Wasted 1000 crowns right there.

The token for appearance change isn't used unless you commit to changes. At anytime while trying different changes you can exit without committing and detain the token for future use.

Yeah - but the only thing I wanted to change was the height of my character. I might never need to use that token.

you might be able to submit a ticket and get a refund since you didn't need it. Not sure.

But yes this has always been on my mind, let us see the character change and save the purchasing token for it if we decide to commit to changes.

Would also be nice to preview the changes vampire makes to your character.

I found an aesthetically pleasing contrast between hair colour and skin colour for my Dunmer just to have it completely thrown by the vampirism thing.

And vice versa. When changing a character would be nice to preview how they look without vampirism.

I think this would be a much better way of doing it. Then I could play around with changes I might want to make to my characters and if I like it I can save the changes. At the moment I'd have to pay for a chance before I can even look at the options.

(Yes I know I can log into the PTS and check it out there, if it happens to be one of the months when my server has been copied, but only PC players have that option and shutting the game down and restarting it on a different server is a pain compared to just clicking the button on the character select screen.)

Would help tremendously if there was at least a 3 hour timer on the 'premium' token for further alterations. Maybe I'm *** at doing it, but what i create in the creator rarely matches up to what I end up with.

That's a gray area where you might be able to get your token back.

Support team were nice enough to give me a refund for the crowns, so luckily I did not have to waste my money on a token I now no longer needed.

I always keep an appearance token just to test changes on my characters.

Perhaps they could do like GW2 and put in an NPC "stylist" where you can fiddle with character remakes while in game without having to have a makeover kit -- but ZoS ought to go one step further than ANet and also let you save the template/sliders/settings/whateveryouwannacallit so you can apply it later once you've got the look you want.

This is in case you dc or something borks in the token purchase. All that hard work should be retrievable once you have the means to apply it.

I just wish things bought in the crown store and earned in game could be made part of my base character look. Kinda sucks we only get the base options when using the token.
