Suggestion: Saving Twice-Born Star 2nd Mundus in Memory while Bar Swapping

With the recent mundus changes, I would like to see TBS being able to store the secondary mundus effect so that when you are on the back bar and TBS is not active, flipping back to the TBS 5pc reapplies the secondary mundus instead of losing it permanently. Being able to have this work would allow for dual wielding pieces of TBS without the hassle of having to go and get the mundus again due to a simple bar swap.

    if you have 2 tbs daggers then swap bars to a vma bow you loose your 2nd mundus even when you swap back to the daggers it should be coded that when you swap you loose the mundus for the duration your on the back bar then regain it when swapping back

    Some sets work this way. For instance, if I have 5-piece Burning Spellweave or 5-piece Transmuation on my back bar but not on my front bar, if I proc those sets while on back bar, their effects persist even when I switch over to front bar. The reason sets like this persist when 5 pieces aren't equipped is that they're proc sets: once their effect is procced, it persists until its duration runs out, regardless of any armor changes the player goes on to make. TBS, on the other hand, is a static bonus, like the spell damage bonus from Julianos: as long as you're wearing 5 pieces, it's just there.

    It sounds like the change you want would work best if TBS were changed into a proc set ("When X condition, you gain a second mundus boon for Y seconds" or some such). But what would be the condition to proc it?

    If i am reading the OP correctly, i think he is asking for the set to remember the two mundus stones he has equiped so that bar swapping from dw (5 piece TBS active) to bow (5 piece TBS not active) back to dw the 5 piece bonus is active again and he has his two mundus stones.

    I have not really used this set without making sure it was active on both bars so I am not sure if TBS still works this way but at one time I believe if you bar swapped like mentioned above then you would lose your 2nd mundus stone and would have to go find another statue someplace to reaquire it. Kind of makes it pointless to run it anything other than a 5-5-2 build or make it your primary set so the 5 piece is always active on both bars.

    Sounds like you guys took the question differently as I could agree with both with latter being an expolit and later being a long time bug.

    The way they fixed the old bug and then added a QOL to the set was that the game remembers the last mundus you added so when you switch stones it replaces the oldest stone. Since the game remembers that they could just extend the table 'memory' to remember the second stone so that whenever TBS is active it reactivates your second stone. I actually think this is an easy fix.

    I think OP just used the wrong words to describe his issue: he thinks TBS should "remember" the second Mundus when you lose the 5 piece bonus and activate it again, not have it active at all times.

    I think me and a lot of others will agree. Are in a trial and want to switch TBS for something else for one fight? You'll have to port out and get your second Mundus again.

    I agree that it would be nice if when you reequip TBS it would remember the second Mundus.

    But as others said, if I got the request wrong, then no... As explained, the only effects that last even when the 5 piece is not active are condition-based procs, which TBS is not and should not be in the current implementation.
