We won t see AOE from our allies ?

It means we ll see ppl dying in pvp without raison because we won t see allies AOE ( EOT,WOE, hurricane )
It kills a bit the group gameplay

    I'm actually sad about this. I really hope we can make it a toggle option rather than an enforced one.

    I think it's a great option for the game, especially for those who are having issues with FPS or just seeing markers, but for me those have not been issues and I really love seeing my allies skills go off.

    PvP wise as a former raid leader I feel it's needed to see what's happening. If I order a charge and ask for abilities I want to be able to see those abilities and know I am not about welp my raid because no one had their abilities ready.

    I just wish I knew which dev to poke/tag about this.

    This is absolutely terrible, it HAS to be a toggle option.

    Please whoever is in charge for that, make it a toggle option for those who want to increase their FPS/Performance and for those who are fine as it is. People need to see what is happening, be it in PVP or PVE, it absolutely flaws an otherwise *** amazing patch :cry:

    I also poked Rich on Twitter Anne to see if he can point me in the direction of which dev is best to chat with about this.

    If I get an answer I'll shoot them a PM and try and give them some constructive feedback as well as link to this thread.

    I really don't want this to go in as a pure thing and not a toggle. :(

    Completely agree. I WANT to know when my allies use certain abilities, so I can adapt to that and choose my action in accordance to them. This is bad fir coordinated group play.

    Stuff loke grothdarr etc are ok. But EOT and wall of elements, caltrops etc need to be seen in group play PVP

    This needs to be a toggle. And that's coming from someone playing on potato laptop which video card isn't even officially supported anymore.

    Agreed, a toggle option is certainly needed here. Being able to see your allies damaging skills in both PvE and PvP can be critical to how well you perform.

    ZOS should come up with a good list of features that can considered "optional", and have them as toggles in the Option menus in order to increase performance by disabling features we are willing to give up.

    ....or you know, actually fix the mess of code and save this game since performance has only been dcreasing patch by patch. ESO performs as bad as is even possible without refusing to work at all.

    I agree - I'm actually disturbed by this change as it just won't seem right fighting alongside others if their spell effects aren't visible!

    I'm all for improving game performance, but in a group PvP setting its important to be able to see exactly where damage is going out and being focused.

    Yup. If I don't want to see what my teammates are doing, I'll go play a single-player RPG...

    I like the change, but toggle would be fair. Speaking off track toggle option of pets fighting heavy attack would be nice.

    I don't actually mind it. Less crap on the screen will be good for the game in general. The only one I'm worried about is it hiding twisting/refreshing path, because that can also heal allies standing in it.
