Similar changed happened to elemental blockade recently so I guess this is intended. Both skills would be somewhat underperforming otherwise

That was already the case, and the reason why Infused outperformed Sharpened in the current patch as long as you used a vMA bow.

In fact, even without a vMA bow, Infused would still outperform both Precise and Nirnhoned on the main hand of a DW / Bow setup. (Main hand varying trait, offhand sharp, bow sharp).

BiS traits are already set for PvE: Infused main hand, Precise offhand. Only the bow's trait needs to be tested.

vMA enchantment is still applied as normal even while off the bar with it.

Precise. Lover or Shadow mundus is the real thing that needs to be tested.
