I like this idea a lot, but I think its ridiculous that u can't just put books in a book shelf.

We also need waaay more space for items in our homes. Especially with the cost of them. I mean it's not storage space for gear, it's more like crown store storage.

You can place books in the bookshelves? Newsflash, at least for me. One insightful point earned, hehe. Well I'm gonna check out the mages guild later.

I just earned one set, only ten books. So I bought the book pack from the Mages Guild. I had to unpack it and ended up placing all 10 books separately. It would be insane to have to place the large packs ( 50 - 120 or so ) , also it use up a lot of spaces.

Just throwing it out there, but Immaculate Construction could help fill one shelf, or entire bookshelves, pretty quickly. It's available from Minion and as a download from ESOUI.com.

While I would love to have placed a library of actual, readable books in my Erstwhile, this proved impossible given the current item limits.


As for placement, there are a number of ways you can do this manually with the help of some addons like, Homestead OCD
The results are pretty good.


Im sure @R_K will probably write an addon that will replace OCD, considering he's on a roll atm.
