My Altmer heroine. She knows that Summerset is the place of her birth but can't remember much of her former life before Coldharbour. She thinks no good comes of war and she'd rather choose peace than the Dominion but Ayrenn keeps draggin her around. She much rather go and read some old dusty book, explore forgotten ruins and the see world, hang out with her Khajiit buddy Raz or research magic but she loves battle as well.
I really like how she turned out even though I had soem problems with the character creation screen first. Now I'm really into taking screenshots of her and the amazing scenery. I have an entire folder filled with it.
My Altmer siblings, Araneon and Glindawen (photo courtesy of @adriant1978 )
Araneon is a young mage rather lacking in confidence who has always struggled against the immense pressures placed upon him by his family. He is somewhat timid and has a fascination for other cultures - unusual for his race. Because of this and his lack of magical brilliance he has been considered the "black sheep" of the family, even though he doesn't actually lack talent: just teachers with the right methods to bring it out.
Glindawen, or Glinda for short is his older sister, a member of the Divine Prosecution and everything a superiorly-bred Mer aspires to be: proud of her lineage, dedicated to her duties and confident the Altmer are Tamriel's most accomplished race. She isn't a bad person, but she is very much a product of her society.
Despite their differences, they get along quite well, although Glinda despairs of her brother's stubborn insistence to associate with the "lesser races" just as he tries to get her to see many of them are good, worthy people.
